Only black reporters allowed in Mayoral race event

Correct...

I just said what the sign meant. The sign meant "black reporters only" because that is what the sign said.

Now prove that that sign is racist.

You reading the sign isn't an explanation. Let me dumb it down....It says Black reporters only. According to you...does this mean reporters with white skin are not allowed. Yes or no?

You reading the sign isn't an explanation. Let me dumb it down....It says Black reporters only.

You ask what the sign meant.

I say that the sign meant "black reporters only"...

You dumb it down for me and repeat that the sign meant "black reporters only"?

According to you...does this mean reporters with white skin are not allowed. Yes or no?

I am sorry... I thought that this was extremely obvious. If the sign says "black reporters only" then that, by default, means that Hispanic, Asian and White reporters are not allowed in.

Again... this is discrimination... not racism.

lol hahahhahahah jesus....discrimination based on what exactly?

Correct...

I just said what the sign meant. The sign meant "black reporters only" because that is what the sign said.

Now prove that that sign is racist.

That is discrimination based upon race... ie racial discrimination.

From Merriam-Webster:

Racism

3 : racial prejudice or discrimination

I'd say that about covers it.

.

Since when is denying people entry by skin color considered racist. The KKK and the NAZI party are fine with this. What's the problem. This is the South and in the state of Georgia where this kind of behavior is still acceptable I assume.

it is hilarious watching them defend this as not racism.

Do you support what the sign says?

I find it sad, as well as dangerous.

I just don't understand how anyone could embrace a set of beliefs that requires them to use lies in order to justify.

That is the dictionary definition of racism. It's called "racial discrimination".

.

NAACP
Congressional Black Caucus
BET
The TV show "Blackish"
Affirmative Action

All racist, huh? That's white nationalist rhetoric.

White nationalists would have their members and us believe that recognizing racism and taking actions to mitigate it is in itself racist. Hell, mentioning racism is racist. Doing something about it is white genocide -oops- racist.

lol hahahhahahah jesus....discrimination based on what exactly?

The color of a person's skin... look, you simply lack the capacity to understand the difference between racism and discrimination...

Is the Merriam-Webster dictionary even relevant in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Why don't you take your dictionary down to the south and point that out to these wonderful people. They will be so grateful they may take you fishing in one of the swamps.

I love their defense...its not racism...its just discrimination based solely on skin color.

hahahhahhaha my god I can't believe I'm getting this in writing.

I'm pretty sure this is the most epic fail I've ever seen on any forum in the last 20 years.

My post is based on the dictionary definition or racism... Are you accusing the Merriam-Webster dictionary of being a white nationalist publication?

.

I love their defense...its not racism...its just discrimination based solely on skin color.

The discrimination is based on social dynamics. Skin color is incidental. It's not supremacist. It's not bigoted.

Now you gonna tell me about non-bigoted racism?

From Merriam-Webster:

It has always been with the caveat that there is a component of superiority with it:

a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race

A ladies room is not sexist. The NAACP is not racist.

My post is based on the dictionary definition or racism... Are you accusing the Merriam-Webster dictionary of being a white nationalist publication?

As usual, you're using a partial definition.

Don't forget 2b.

You made the statement "Since when is denying people entry by skin color considered racist." I provided you the dictionary definition that shows it to be racist.

Any comment on that?

It has always been with the caveat that there is a component of superiority with it

Not true. There are definitions that include that aspect, but not all of them do. The definition I posted is an example of such.

I find it sad, as well as dangerous.

I just don't understand how anyone could embrace a set of beliefs that requires them to use lies in order to justify.

It is not defending racism... It is accurately assigning terminology.

That is a separate definition. All 3 definition are valid and I provided definition #3.

So all minority programs are racist?

This isn't a militia compound. Get a hold of yourself.

Wow, this is an incredible display of racism. I thought the end of Jim Crow and the civil rights act, put a stop to this. I bet CNN is all over it. lol, not. More at link: Only black reporters allowed in Georgia mayoral race event

Only black reporters allowed in Georgia mayoral race event - Nation World - Athens Banner-Herald - Athens, GA

SAVANNAH, Ga. | Race was front and center on Wednesday night during a meeting coordinated to garner support for just one black candidate in Savannah’s mayoral election.

With signs stating “Black press only” on the doors of the church where the meeting was held, white reporters were barred from entry, while black reporters for at least two television stations were permitted inside.

The event was coordinated by the Rev. Clarence Teddy Williams, owner of the consulting firm, The Trigon Group, who declined to discuss the entry policy.

Former Savannah Mayor Edna Jackson declined to comment before going inside, as did Chatham County Commissioner Chester Ellis.

“This is not my idea,” Ellis said.

well, well... how does discrimination in reverse look to you? Better than hanging from a tree I'd say. That Baptist Church isn't a public forum, it's privately owned. They can do whatever the hell they want even bar White reporters. They're trying to unite the city's black community behind a single candidate for the upcoming mayoral election. Amen

Anyway, enjoy your feigned outrage.
