Oh, Dahlling, How's Our Wonderful 401-k doing today?

Yeah. We're likely to get down into the 1200 range before things turnDo around and even then it will be a slow climb probably taking at least another 60 years to get back to even. Face it, we're all screwed. We should all take all our savings out and buy toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

And after that, if there's anything left over, we should donate it to the Democratic Party's newest committee, "Don't ever Let a Good Crisis go to Waste".

I find it even funnier that you think you've hit on some kind of investing secret. People, e.g. you, who are so desperate to make themselves seem wise by only end up making themselves look silly.

Your spin is noted.

Don't you get tired of being dishonest, or is it a badge you wear with pride?

It's no investing secret. Buy low, sell high.

Too late for The Cult to plead for unity after tearing this country apart for the past 4 years.

Please define this tearing down of the country over the past 4 years. The economy is reasonable strong, hopefully strong enough to withstand the fear mongering from the left and this virus outbreak.

If the unemployment rate wasn’t so low, maybe this administration could send out comfort and cuddle people to all the radical left households to give hugs of support and remind them of basic hygiene

Oh, you think this is not going to lead to a contraction? This is just the first winds of the economic storm that's brewing. There will be lay-offs. Bet on it.

Is America great again yet?

Not quite yet..... ;)

.....“You know what solves it? When the economy crashes, when the country goes to total hell and everything is a disaster, then you’ll have a, you know, you’ll have riots to go back to where we used to be when we were great,” Trump argued......

You're saying the Dow(n) and the S&P are just full of "volatile" stocks?

I really don't know what I said that would make you think I said that. I think you are just making **** up.

You are dismissed. (see my sig)

Greatest country I’ve ever lived in, just speaking for myself. Of course, that’s pretty much always the case and always despite whoever our elected officials happen to be.

You can't even keep track of or own up to your own idiotic words now. I accept your abject surrender.

Liberals must think that only wealthy people and conservatives are invested in the market. It would explain their glee at its recent decline. That and thinking it helps put their demented fool in the WH.

So True!

Their other motto is “By Any Means Necessary!” Sometimes creating chaos is the necessary means used to achieve a political benefit for The Party!

imho, Roseann:)

When senior citizens have been swindled out of their life savings and retirement funds by financiers, they understand all they need to know about economics.

This is not the kind of 'happy' that anyone wants. This hurts everyone, it's non-political when it comes to health, safety and welfare.

But just about every post you and your cronies have made on the subject have been political.

Keyboard geniuses of hindsight

You write like someone who knows a lot about political economy. LOL

have a nice day.

It would be greater without the hideous cretins who continue to spread the fear while politicizing the bear stock market due to a worldwide pandemic.

It would be even greater without the boot-licking sycophants propping up a corrupt, senile, incompetent dictator-in-waiting. :2wave:

cool what policy or law did trump in act that started the virus which is the biggest reason for most of the market down turn.
i will be waiting not that i expect you to answer the question no one else can either.

Sorry but Joe biden and Sanders are probably not going to win the election so they are not in waiting.
other than that we don't have a dictator.

The Dow(n) and S&P are both off around 19% from their most recent highs of last month so definitely heading into bear territory.

For the smart, sane and educated Americans, this is a wonderful buying opportunity. I doubled down on my 401k during the Great Recession and not only made up for having to give half to my ex in a 2010 divorce, but a bit ahead.

In one of my favorite movies, "It's a Wonderful Life", there's a scene where there's a run on the banks. People are panicking and trying to take their money out and put it under their mattresses. George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart) points out to them that Mr. Potter, the greedy nemesis of the movie, wasn't panicking, he was buying up the town for pennies on the dollar. Potter was smart and knew a buying opportunity when he saw one.

That's the problem, Trump didn't enact anything in response to the virus spreading in the U.S. until it already had. And you let him in. :2no4:
