I don't know whose remarks are worse, yours or his. As if there is any justification for Christian anti-Semite in the Talmud. He is right that Christian have for as long as the religion has been around been claiming Jews committed deicide, the text even says that their guilt will be on subsequent generations. The Bible is to blame for anti-semitism being escalated even beyond where it was in the pagan Roman age.

However, the fire was likely a computer glitch and not an act of god.

Clearly, it was a human error. The contractor responsible for the scaffolding admitted that workers “flouted the smoking ban,” even though the company, Le Bras Freres, has a strict no smoking policy. Workers ignored the rule as it took too long to climb down for a smoke break and they were regularly smoking illegally.

Renovators working on Notre Dame cathedral were regularly smoking illegally before the fire that almost destroyed the famous Paris landmark, it has been reported.

Extensive interviews carried out by detectives since last week’s horrific blaze has led to a number of confessions, according to French media.

"In the hearings, some workers admitted that they were smoking on the scaffolding, despite the strict ban," says a shock report in the Canard Enchaine (The Chained Duck), France’s leading investigative news outlet.

Police have also found seven discarded cigarette butts on the scene, the publication adds.

While the cause of the fire is still considered accidental, any proof that a discarded cigarette butt led to the fire could result in a prison sentence.
