Nfl 2019

Even though I despise the Cheatriots and everything they stand for, I still managed to give them credit for their Super Bowl wins, unlike you.

What the hell does that even mean?

And yeah man...tell me all
About how Big Ben took responsibility for raping a woman. Jail must have been a bitch.

And, unlike Brady and the Cheatriots who are twice convicted NFL cheaters, and who have never accepted responsibility for their actions, Big Ben is not a convicted rapist and in fact was never charged, and he did fully accept that his actions discredited, not only himself, but his team and the league, and he accepted, without appeal or equivocation, the punishment the NFL assigned him. He went on to grow up, get married, have a family, and change his ways. The Cheatriots, from their sleazy owner on down, never accept responsibility, blame others when they're caught, and never change their ways. Probably why almost everyone outside of New England can't stand them.

What on earth are you talking about?

The Patriots have lost draft picks and been suspended.

Tell me ANY lawyer that would advise their client to simply "accept responsibility."

He plays the role of a comedic Steelers homer.

That fact he says the Steelers are the most well-run organization in the NFL shows a fan in complete denial.

IDK.. If it was all about his feet why lie about it? Why go on and on about this helmet issue? Everyone knows about what happened with his feet.. All he's have to say is I'm taking some time off, let my feet heal, the coach and GM are on-board, that's all. No problem, no drama.

The Raider brass seems like they are tired of the drama.

LOL the Raiders are tired of drama? They love drama! Heck, I believe they volunteered to go on Hard Knocks just to garner some attention because everybody is laughing at them.

I can't wait to to see how this pass interference replay is going to work this year..

Should be fun..

Patrick Chung indicted for coke. Man...if this turns out to be true and he is convicted...what a waste.

I get that people from all walks of life can become drug users...but this is stupid to a different level. Again...if true.

Another Patriot in trouble with the law.

This is why when other teams players screw up I don't throw stones at the other fans 'teams' because 'what goes around comes around'.

That and karma.

Cam Newton sustained a foot injury in his first pre-season game. Although the Panthers are "cautiously optimistic" that he will be ready for the opening game of the regular season, one never knows.
I hate the pre-season.

Cam's career is in decline anyway. He's over 30 and won't have the same legs to be a dual threat, and throwing accuracy was never his forte.

We'll see how Greg Olsen's foot performs. He is old and injury-prone, and will be playing on a twice-broken foot.

I don't have great expectations for my Panthers this season. USA Today estimates that the team will finish 8-8. That's not good to say the least, and if it happens, it's likely to be the end of the Ron Rivera era. Good riddance. He is too conventional for my taste. He lacks imagination and is not bold.

I'll be happy if the Panthers at least make the playoffs, but not even that is warranted. Then it will be time to rebuild. The Panthers threw away their golden opportunity to win the Super Bowl against the Broncos, and another shot at it seems to be a long, long way in the future.

:(

It is just cocaine. It is not like he killed someone for goodness sakes.

he quit on his team, teammates, coaches and the game of football.

great players never do that!!!

I guess he's not the second coming after all.

in his defense i might retire playing for the colts too.

he is probably joining the xfl since his dad is the commissioner.

Man that Luck retirement came out of left field. I'm glad I'm not a Colts fan right now.

I guess he's not the second coming after all.

Word should not have leaked out like that during a preseason game. Bad look all around.

RIP? He's not dead FFS.

In other news, another Patriot- TE Kendricks- is suspended for drugs. Anyone surprised?

The Colts were terrible when Luck 1st came into the NFL, especially their O-Line. He took a beating and I don't think he ever recovered..

Indy fans booing like they did :(

Keyboard jocks face no risks. Luck did what was best for Andrew.

Really poor fan reaction in Indy when the tweet about his retiring circulated in the stands during their pre-season game - not his fault the news was leaked - and definitely not his fault that his body appears to have failed him. He gave a lot to the Indy franchise and was rewarded financially accordingly. Booing your franchise player off the field on his retirement is a pretty lame look.

Luck made just under $100 million in his short career and apparently comes from a very wealthy family, so he and his family should never be in financial need going forward. And if you no longer love what is essentially a game, why kill yourself to play it when it's no fun and it takes you months of hard work and rehabilitation just to be fit to play? Smart man, nice college degree, successful family, lots of life left for him outside of the football playing field - I wish him well as he moves on.

You mean he quit on his team like Gronk?

If he had quit on his team like Gronk he would have had to 1-win a Super Bowl or 3 and 2-have announced his retirement immediately after the Super Bowl, giving his team the entire off season, draft, and preseason to replace him.
