curtis samuel, wr, panthers

third year guy who has figured things out

draft him while you can afford him on your fantasy squad

Is there a fantasy league I can join?

Also, the Panthers WR will have trouble since they do not have a legitimate passing Qb.

More BS based on my love of the Patriots I see.

I don't like Froome, but I am defending the truth which I know means not a lot to you. I talked about the facts of the matter where as you just made accusations.
LOL if you were defending the truth then you would have accepted that he cheated. But it seems you quickly dismiss scientific fact the moment it makes your idol guilty since he failed the drug test.

And I do hate Armstrong, not just because he cheated, but because he strong armed his entire team into cheating too.
Oh okay, that makes sense now. So you dont hate Armstrong for cheating, but because he was a bully lol. Okay, I'll accept that.

And the 2 are not comparable.

LOOOL. Riight.

Nope, if you have a medical attest from the doctor that you are allowed to use a specific medicine for a health care issue that you have then you are not cheating. Or does reality not matter to you?

And my idol :lamo

Total nonsense I see again, why is it so difficult to not tell things that are total nonsense/untrue?

Oh okay, that makes sense now. So you dont hate Armstrong for cheating, but because he was a bully lol. Okay, I'll accept that.

Yes, he was a bully to those who exposed his cheating which allowed him to cheat and destroy other people's lives for many many more years. And yes, I have a huge issue with cheating but hate? Don't have enough time to hate all cheating sports people. It made me dislike cycling for many years, I am a huge supporter of the blood passport and testing out of season. One cannot test enough times IMO. Doping in sport needs to be stamped out.

LOOOL. Riight.

You see, I live in the world of facts and reality. You are living in a fantasy world.

Doctors can be paid off to make excuses, but drug tests are solid proof. You like liars and cheaters, so it's okay with you.

You still live with your parents dont you?

More lies I see and distortions of reality.

You still live with your parents dont you?

Nope, I do not live with my "parents". I live under one roof with my elderly mother to help her out, so what? Doesn't aiding your mother who was living alone, does not make me live in reality? Or live with facts?

I cannot help it that you make untrue comments, make up scenario's that are totally made up and do not want to deal with the realities of life.

I today played in a NFL fantasy football league, I got a C+, the Draft Recap gave me that C+ and predicted having a 2-12 record this year and ending as 10th.

I really do not get that, not even for a single second. My team is:

Mahomes, Fournette, Kamara, Boyd, Mike Williams, Vance McDonalds, Aaron Jones, Guice, David Montgomery, Robby Anderson, Desean Jackson, DJ Moore, Mark Andrews, Fairbairn and the Patriots defense.

I will tell you one thing, I might not have gotten an A or B but a team like that in fantasy football will never end 2-12. My team will get a positive record, for that I am sure.

Doctors lie- Lance Armstrong's doctor did so. The only facts is that Froome tested positive, but of course you will never believe it because you like cheaters.

Big Ben: Poor leader that help drives out AB and LBell out of Pittsburgh. How many SB did he win the Steelers? 1 (the SB against the Seahawks he put up the worst numbers for a starting QB in SB history).

I was just curious and browsed several lists of best quarterbacks of all time, and Big Ben is included in the top 10 in most of them. Being in the top ten worldwide in any field of human activity is a rare glory. I wish I were one of the top ten in the world in what I do for a living.

Winning a Superbowl is a team effort and is not just related to winning the big game itself; getting there also matters, so it's a season-long accomplishment. I'd say that any player who has won the Superbowl can label his NFL career as a success.

Dismissing someone's Superbowl victory is unwise. It's a great accomplishment. Many extraordinary quarterbacks in the history of the NFL never got this pleasure.

Sure, we can never trust anybody because some doctors in the past lied. Sorry but Froome was found not guilty. I would not have had an issue if he had been banned for 2 years.

And the rest of your comment is just Patriots hatred, jealousy at it's most pathetic.

Froome may have been cleared, but that was only because he probably bribed them.

The fact is he tested positive. Why do you deny fact?

Victories.. He's won 2, against the Seahawks, and Cardinals.. Been to 3... Lost to Greenbay....

I don't know if I'd put him in my all-time top 10.... But he's defiantly a franchise QB that almost any other team would be happy to have. Add in the last 3-4 years the Steelers have been a circus, Brown, Bell and Tomlin should have all been cut loose a few years ago, with a good coach who would instill some discipline the Steelers might have gone to another 1-2 SB's..

Yes, I was saying that the other user seemed to be dismissing one of Big Ben's Superbowl victories and any time this is done, it's unwise. I'm not sure if I'd rank him in my all-time top 10 either but most lists I consulted, do (generally in 9th or 10th place). I'd definitely rank him in the top 20, though.

Again, any quarterback who has won two Superbowls and 3 conference titles is HUGELY successful, in my book.

Maybe people don't like Big Ben... there's the rapist thing (although I'm not sure he'd qualify as one; one needs to be careful with all these rape accusations against rich athletes; there's always the possibility that it is a set-up or groundless just for the woman to then reach a civil settlement and get rich)... But there is no denying that he is a great quarterback.

Yes, he could have had more Superbowl victories. He works like a horse for it, and like you said, at times his teammates and coach are not as helpful. But Ben does all he can, gets hit, stands up, goes for it again, he is not lazy and doesn't take things for granted. I admire his tremendous effort for the team.

I'm saying this, and I'm not even a Steelers fan. It's just common sense.

Pats' Gordon reinstated; eligible for reg. season

The NFL is reinstating New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon on a conditional basis, the league announced in a statement Friday.

Gordon will be able to rejoin the Patriots officially Sunday and is eligible to play in the regular season.

So the guy missed the last 2 games of the regular season and is eligible for week 1 after being suspended "indefinitely" for violating the league's substance abuse policy for, what, the fourth or fifth time?

Go Pats...

Jim Kelly and Buffalo anyone, four times in a row to the big dance and four loses. Probabley one of the best teams ever in NFL history.

He didn't violate the league's substance abuse policy. He violated the terms of his conditional release. He's a good kid, a really bright kid but has his demons. It is good to see the league not punishing him for a mental health issue.

The Patriots deserve praise for sticking with the troubled young man, hopefully, he can kill it on the field.

Testing positive and being found to have broken the rules are 2 different things. I could care less if he cycles or not, but he has been clearing the UCI. And accusations of bribes are dangerous thing if you have no evidence of that.

Sadly the cycling sport has been poisoned for years and years by cheating on a near industrial scale. It disgusts every true fan. We can only hope that the future of cycling will be a sport that is free from doping and cheating.

I have always been suspicious of Sky/Ineos. Not only for the rumors of doping but also the way they cycle. It is a boring way of cycling because of a tactic that leaves no suspense or excitement in the TDF.

Is his act starting to wear thin in Oakland already?

Raiders GM: Time for AB to be 'all-in or all-out'

NAPA, Calif. -- Antonio Brown left training camp again Sunday, and though Mike Mayock said it was over the receiver's anger from being denied use of his helmet, the Oakland Raiders' general manager also issued an ultimatum to Brown.

"You all know that AB is not here today, right?" Mayock told a group of beat reporters as practice began Sunday afternoon. "So, here's the bottom line: He's upset about the helmet issue. We have supported that, we appreciate that. But at this point, we've pretty much exhausted all avenues of relief.

"So, from our perspective, it's time for him to be all-in or all-out, OK? So, we're hoping he's back soon. We've got 89 guys busting their tails, we are really excited about where this franchise is going and we hope AB's going to be a big part of it, starting Week 1 against Denver. End of story. No questions, OK? Just wanted you guys to know where we were. Fair?"

Mike Mayock, on Antonio Brown
Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, responded to Mayock's comments later on Sunday, taking issue with his assertion that all avenues over the helmet issue have been exhausted.

"There's no doubt it's still an ongoing process," Rosenhaus told South Florida's 7 Sports Extra. "We are trying to work with the team and the league and the union to come up with a solution. We haven't figured it out yet. To say that AB is upset about the decision to not let him wear his helmet is accurate, but we're still processing it and figuring it out. I wouldn't make too much about him not being there today, as much as we're still trying to come up with a solution that works for everyone."

It has been an eventful and somewhat exhausting first Raiders camp for Brown, acquired in a March trade for a third- and a fifth-round draft pick. Because after being a mainstay during the team's offseason program, Brown began camp on the non-football injury list because of frostbite on the soles of his feet after a cryotherapy mishap in France in early July.

He left camp for two weeks, seeking therapy for the feet, which included laser treatments.

Brown has also been upset with the league's not allowing him to wear his Schutt Air Advantage helmet, the only helmet he has worn in his NFL career, because it is older than 10 years and, thus, no longer certified.

He returned to Napa on Tuesday and traveled with the team to Arizona for Thursday night's exhibition and ran routes and caught passes in pregame warm-ups. The Raiders were excited about Brown's return, and after he was a full participant in Saturday morning's walk-through, the team anticipated him practicing fully as soon as Sunday.

"I'm not talking about it anymore," Raiders coach Jon Gruden said of Brown's helmet after the Arizona game. "It was a legal, certified helmet, you know? Somebody approved it, or he wouldn't have worn it."

Raiders GM - Time for AB to be 'all-in, or all-out'

If Brady was your teams QB and your team had won 6 Super Bowls, been in 9, and is a legitimate threat to win every year...yeah...you would. You would pay him whatever he wanted and do so on your knees thanking God himself.

My team has won 6 Super Bowls and they didn't have to cheat to do it. Likewise, my team has for the past decade or more played in an extremely competitive division where all games are wars unlike the Cheatriots who've been gifted with a first round bye in the playoffs every year because they play in a division that gifts them 6 wins every year unless they **** up.

I will give you this - Brady, and the Cheatriots, for whatever reason, seem to be the very luckiest of all professional teams the past decade and a half - no other team has had their opponents, with the exception of the Giants, gift them Super Bowl wins when the Cheatriots didn't deserve to win the game. But hey, that's just competitive sour grapes because wins are wins and wins are all that matter in professional sports. However you get it done, if you get it done you're to be congratulated and the accomplishment honoured.

Now, since my Steeler's record of Super Bowls wins has been tarnished by association with the Cheatriots, the Steelers will just have to go out and win another one this year - and I'm looking forward to that scenario playing out now that all the distractions of the past few years have been banished.

I watched episode 2 of hard knocks and AB showed his foot soles on camera- egads, there's no skin on them. I really think he is hurt and the helmet thing is a non-issue.

IDK.. If it was all about his feet why lie about it? Why go on and on about this helmet issue? Everyone knows about what happened with his feet.. All he's have to say is I'm taking some time off, let my feet heal, the coach and GM are on-board, that's all. No problem, no drama.

The Raider brass seems like they are tired of the drama.

I heard on NFL Radio today that he is dropping the helmet issue and showing up for practice again. About time. I mean, the whole thing was beyond stupid. Your employer has certified safety equipment for you to use; just use it. Don't come up with your own. It's like this in 100% of all jobs, everywhere in the world. Why should Brown be an exception? And the sheer arrogance... why in the hell a player with no degree in equipment safety would know better than the specialists who tested his helmet and concluded that it is not up to standards? Any thinking person would then say, "oh oops, I'm glad that the experts found out that my helmet is not safe; I didn't know; since I don't want to acquire a head injury which could end my carrer and/or cause permanent damage or even end my life, I'm glad that from now on I'll be wearing a better helmet that does protect me." Duh!

If this was an excuse to divert attention from a foot injury, it is twice as stupid, because nobody would fault him for having a foot injury so the excuse was entirely unnecessary.

Your team in its entire history...has managed toi accomplish what Brady has done.

Whew...great job there!

Wait...isnt your QB a rapist?

Even though I despise the Cheatriots and everything they stand for, I still managed to give them credit for their Super Bowl wins, unlike you.

And, unlike Brady and the Cheatriots who are twice convicted NFL cheaters, and who have never accepted responsibility for their actions, Big Ben is not a convicted rapist and in fact was never charged, and he did fully accept that his actions discredited, not only himself, but his team and the league, and he accepted, without appeal or equivocation, the punishment the NFL assigned him. He went on to grow up, get married, have a family, and change his ways. The Cheatriots, from their sleazy owner on down, never accept responsibility, blame others when they're caught, and never change their ways. Probably why almost everyone outside of New England can't stand them.

So a 2nd year QB, with a losing NFL record and on the worst biggest losing NFL franchise, hell maybe the worst sports franchise in the US, takes a cheap shot at a fellow QB? Him and Beckham should get along fine..

Baker Mayfield rips Giants' selection of Daniel Jones: 'Blows my mind'

It appears as if a little of Odell Beckham Jr. is rubbing off on Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, who recently took an unprovoked shot at the New York Giants and rookie quarterback Daniel Jones.

While sitting down with GQ Magazine, Mayfield happened to catch a spot on SportsCenter about the Giants and Jones, which interrupted the questioning and led to some faulty criticism.

“I cannot believe the Giants took Daniel Jones. It blows my mind,” Mayfield said. “Some people overthink it. That’s where people go wrong. They forget you’ve gotta win.”

Mayfield was speaking of Jones’ 17-19 record at Duke, which was hindered greatly by the lack of NFL quality talent around him. It by no means defines Jones as a player — which has been evident this summer — but clearly Mayfield needed to get his shots in.

The irony, of course, is that Mayfield is a “loser” at the NFL level with a 6-7 record, while his newest receiver has done nothing but lose since entering the NFL (save for 2016, which was an anomaly that ended with Beckham’s worst career game and a punched hole in the Lambeau Field wall).

But Mayfield is clearly feeling himself. Despite a recent history of failure, the Browns are riding high this year as the hype train is already off the tracks. However, why that makes Mayfield comfortable enough to stick his nose in another man’s business and rip a kid he doesn’t even know is unclear — sometimes arrogance just likes to hear itself.
