Nfl 2019

No, he was accused of testing higher for a legal medicine that he gets for asthma, experts found that the claim that he was over 200% was ludicrous, at most he was over 19% and even that is dubious as he was tested 20 times during that Vuelta and not once was he over the limit for that medication. So he was found innocent of using doping. He was getting a legally prescribed asthma medication.

Sure, your jealousy keeps showing.

LOL of course you believe whatever Froome says because he wins, even though he tested positive. You believe whatever the Patriots say too, even though many of their players have been fined and suspended by the League. Face it, you love cheaters because they win.

Yep.. Pretty good deal... As I said, the Raiders took a chance. They may get burnt. As a fan, me and a million other Steeler fans had enough of Brown's act and wanted him gone 2-3 years ago. And last year he just flat out quit on the team. If fans can see what he was becoming, the Raiders and their millions of $'s should have seen it too.

But we'll see.
I saw him on the first episode of Hard Knocks- he didnt seem too bad. Now I cant wait till this incident gets revealed on the show lol.

If this guy makes the team and has a career...it will be the best feelgood story of the year. Pretty amazing stuff.

Wrong as ever, I don't even like Froome, too focused on the TdF with his entire team. My team is Jumbo-Visma with Kruiswijk and other great riders in their team.

But my favorite driver is van der Poel. A real miracle on the bike. He was the dominant rider in cyclo cross last year, world champion and winner of most driver rankings, winner of the Amstel Gold Race (best race of the spring classics) and now he is winning world cup mountain bike competitions.

And I believe that as soon as the UCI has spoken and a matter has been settled it should be innocent until proven guilty, and as Froome was not found guilty he has to be seen as innocent. Even if I dislike him greatly, just like I did the Sky team.

The difference between you and me is that all your views are poisoned by your dislike of people, to the level of not caring whether something is true or not.

Are all riders clean? Nope, that is why we have doping tests.

I have a feeling that the Cheatriots will never win another SB ever again.

They have a next-level Qb:

What separates Brady from the rest of the mortals on the gridiron, is he is actually able to experience a game that not many even realize exists.

The author described Brady as Keanu Reeves character, Neo, in "The Matrix," and describes how the QB can "seemingly slow down time in his mind and bend it to his will."

"There is a comfort in the known, as opposed to being uncomfortable with the unknown," Brady explains like a philosopher.

He delves deeper, claiming "There are not many things that I unknow in football. You call the play. I see the defense; I know what to do. Say there’s five guys going on routes. Wherever the defense guards are, I’m going to throw it the opposite way. By the time I have the ball in my hands, I know what I want to do with it."

Unfortunately, just like "The Matrix," nobody can actually be told how Brady experiences an NFL game ... you've just gotta see it for yourself.

With the exception of Kirk Cousins, I'd take any of those other QBs over Brady at this point in time and there isn't one of those other teams that would trade their QB straight up for Brady at this point in time.

Big Ben: Poor leader that help drives out AB and LBell out of Pittsburgh. How many SB did he win the Steelers? 1 (the SB against the Seahawks he put up the worst numbers for a starting QB in SB history).

Matt Ryan: A B+ QB his entire QB.

Kirk Cousins: See Matt Ryan

Aaron Rodgers: His act in GB is wearing thin. I wouldn't be surprised if the Packers traded him.

Nope....It gets crazier..

Report: Antonio Brown Threatens to Quit Football over Helmet Grievance..

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has reportedly filed a grievance against the NFL for banning a helmet he wore throughout his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers since it's no longer certified by the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE).

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday league sources believe Brown, who will argue his case in front of an arbitrator, may be sitting out portions of training camp because of the helmet issue in addition to the extreme frostbite he reportedly suffered while using a cryotherapy chamber in France last month.

Schefter later added Brown has even threatened to quit the NFL if his helmet isn't allowed:

He got a ton of guaranteed money.. And as a Steelers fan I could see over the last few years he's become 'unstable'.. Maybe that's not the correct word, BUT he's spiraling down hill.. It's more than his feet. Oakland took a chance, and might be sorry they did...

If he doesn't play a game he's more than likely to not see a large chunk of that money, as his injury was self inflicted.

I'm not sure how it works. I read where if he can't play this year he might not get his yearly $15 mil salary. But they didn't mention the guaranteed money. I would think the guaranteed money he already has... No?

Guaranteed money presumes he plays or is injured playing. Not him injuring himself being stupid.

But the feet may not be the problem now.. It's the helmet..

Again I'm not 100% sure how it works. In baseball it's guaranteed contracts. In football it's guaranteed money. Guaranteed money sounds like that money is upfront. The player gets that money as soon as he inks the deal..

Idk..

If he doesn't get on the field and play then its likely he will be sued for breach of contract if past NFL dealings with other players represent any precedence. JMO of the matter.

You like Froome because he cheats.

The difference between you and me is that all your views are poisoned by your dislike of people, to the level of not caring whether something is true or not.
Wrong. The difference between you and me is I like honest athletes who play fair, not cheaters who win at all costs- you love the latter kind.

You like Froome because he cheats.

There you go again, reading into things that nobody sees but you. Telling total dishonest claims about what I wrote. Or are you not able to read when I write:

I don't even like Froome

But hey, you make things up as you go along to fit your dishonest portrayal of me because you clearly hate the Patriots.

Wrong. The difference between you and me is I like honest athletes who play fair, not cheaters who win at all costs- you love the latter kind.

More dishonesty I see, I didn't expect anything else. You know nothing about me but you keep making up lies to fit your view of me because I like the Patriots. Hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Well, this certainly clears things up. Especially about the 10 years and older comment.

NFL makes its stance clear on Antonio Brown’s helmet

Without even mentioning Antonio Brown.

League spokesman Brian McCarthy just tweeted out what amounts to a policy statement, as it pertains to Antonio Brown’s grievance and bluster about wearing his old helmet which hasn’t been certified by the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment.

“The player can’t practice or play in games with equipment that’s not approved,” McCarthy wrote. “If he doesn’t play or practice he is in breach of his contract and doesn’t get paid. NFL policy is that Helmets have to be certified by NOSCAE. They don’t certify equipment that’s old[er] than 10 years.”

McCarthy deserves extra credit for going full Bill Parcells — “The player” — but the league’s stance here is clear. Brown can threaten as he pleases. But without conforming to safety standards the league and players union have worked together to create, he won’t be on the field.

Thats exactly why you defend him and believe everything he says- he wins due to cheating. On the other hand youre being hypocritical for hating Lance Armstrong since he won too and he cheated.

Sure, Brown's latest antics prove that Big Ben was/is a bad leader, rather than the fact that he and Tomlin miraculously managed to keep the lid on his insanity for 10 years. And your proof is in the fact that the Steelers, arguably the best run franchise in the NFL, just extended both of their contracts.

Fact remains, not a single team would trade the QBs you listed for the obviously declining sainted Tom Brady going forward.

So who else thinks the Vikings are going to dominate the NFC North this season?

dunno

very interested in how my rookie QB leads my pathetic Cardinals team

we had the one really good year.....

would have LOVED to have seen Fitzgerald get a ring somehow....

be nice to see this team rise again....

I see the handshake agreement, unwritten payroll manipulation, between Robert Kraft and Tom Brady has finally come to fruition. Years of Brady taking less than competitive salary so that the Cheatriots could sign other players has now come to an end as the Cheatriots now overpay in Brady's failing years - $8 million top up in salary this year and then $30 mil and $32 mil in the remaining two years. I wouldn't pay Brady half of that to play at 44 and no other team in the league would. Brady didn't help win the Super Bowl last year - the Rams offense gifted the game to the Cheatriots by playing their worst game of the year. But hey, more power to him - good deal if you can get it.
If Brady was your teams QB and your team had won 6 Super Bowls, been in 9, and is a legitimate threat to win every year...yeah...you would. You would pay him whatever he wanted and do so on your knees thanking God himself.

I agree Larry F is one of the most talented players and just a class act. When you see some of the cheating wastes of oxygen who have rings it just proves there is no such thing as karma.

I always wanted him in his home state of Minnesota and who knows the couple recent times the Vikings fell just short maybe his talent would have been enough to make the difference.

Oh well I guess we will never know...

Oh well I guess we will never know...

his bust is waiting in Canton....and if not a first ballot, i will be majorly surprised

but him getting a ring would have been special even if it meant him leaving for another team....

a true gentleman and class act....got to meet him at one of his charity events....the time he took with the kids was amazing...

been to a bunch of events like that, and a LOT of the guys are trying to get out of there as fast as they can....

Fitz was with one little guy who was suffering with spina bifida for at 45 minutes alone...as he was a "football fan"

just a really special man....and as you said a CLASS ACT

Thats exactly why you defend him and believe everything he says- he wins due to cheating. On the other hand youre being hypocritical for hating Lance Armstrong since he won too and he cheated.

More BS based on my love of the Patriots I see.

I don't like Froome, but I am defending the truth which I know means not a lot to you. I talked about the facts of the matter where as you just made accusations.

And I do hate Armstrong, not just because he cheated, but because he strong armed his entire team into cheating too. On top of that people who reported the truth were sued and destroyed utterly by him and his lawyers/supporters. That is why I hate Lance Armstrong. I seriously dislike him for cheating and doping, but I hate him for the lives he has destroyed by his actions.

And the 2 are not comparable. I may not like Froome but he has acted within the rules of the sport. I do not like the way he just drives big tours only and achieves little or nothing aside from that. And he has a team that makes him not needing to use up any energy to attack or keep up with his opponents. And the team buys a lot of his opponents so that there is no real battle for the win and that makes the TDF BORING as hell.

Sure, I watch some of the TDS but my favorite tour is the Vuelta, no big sprinters, lots of hills and mountains and I love the free spirited way people cycle there.

Really love the Patriots receiving core this year. Could be really special:

1. Julian Edelman - Mr. Reliable. He might even be more explosive a year removed from tearing his ACL.

2. N'keal harry - Kind of reminds me of Anquan Boldin. Not a burner but could be really special and replace Gronk as the possession guy

3. Braxton Berrios - This guy looks like the next Julian Edelman/Wes Welker. They should have him return punts full time.

4. Jakobi Meyers - Looks really good.

Ton of solid other options like Cameron Meredith, D. Thomas, Dorsett, and even Josh Gordon.

curtis samuel, wr, panthers

third year guy who has figured things out

draft him while you can afford him on your fantasy squad
