If I had to choose between ankle length pants and a helmet I would choose the pants and forgo the helmet. Whenever I see a bike rider wearing shorts I cringe.
Have laid down a few bikes before.

Yup. I'm 68 YOA and I still have visible scars from an accident when I was 16.

When you lay a bike down your legs have a choice:

(A) Asphalt cheese grater

That is why on long rides chaps are a must. Just the amount of rocks and crap flying on the road in front of you they help.

The Nevada woman who in a civil lawsuit accused Ben Roethlisberger of sexually assaulting her last year boasted to a co-worker at that time of having consensual sex with the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and said she hoped he had impregnated her, according to a sworn affidavit filed in court in Washoe County, Nev., late Friday.

Shortly after telling former co-worker Angela Antonetti about the tryst during a celebrity golf tournament at Harrah's Lake Tahoe, where both worked as casino hosts, the 31-year-old woman "expressed to me she was hoping for a 'little Roethlisberger,'" Ms. Antonetti said in her affidavit.

Moreover, Ms. Antonetti said, the woman asked her to travel to Pittsburgh in August 2008 for a Steeler's game and to try to "run into" Mr. Roethlisberger. "I told her that she shouldn't try to chase Mr. Roethlisberger."

Around the same time, Ms. Antonetti said, the woman asked her to obtain Mr. Roethlisberger's cell phone number from a Harrah's executive casino host. She said she told the woman it was inappropriate and improper to use Harrah's resources to try to contact the quarterback.

If I accused you of rape, would you be a heinous person? I believe, if I'm not mistaken, he was accused, true, however the authorities in the jurisdiction involved declined to press charges since there were others who disputed the claim, not just Roethlisberger. Settling a claim out of civil court is not an admission of criminal guilt, last time I checked.

Clearly, however, Roethlisberger took the position that his behavior which led to the claim and the bad publicity for himself as well as his team and the league was wrong and thus he accepted the league and team imposed discipline without any appeal. So, again, the matter was handled entirely differently by Big Ben and the Steelers as opposed to any matter handled by the Cheatriots.

Players weren't quite sure where he was while, for example, an assistant coach would run the team's final prep on the Saturday before a game. Eventually, word leaked that McCarthy, the one calling plays on game day, was up in his office getting a massage during those meetings.

One player had the same massage therapist, and she let it slip that McCarthy would sneak her up a back stairway to his office while the rest of the team prepared for that week's opponent.

And many wondered why with all the head coach openings this past off-season, ESPECIALLY with the Jets, no one hired McCarthy. I would say this kind of thing had something to do with no one hiring him.
 
BTW it looks like now we know who Brown really had a problem with on the Steelers... Smith-Schuster.

Looks like Brown had a problem sharing the litter box, he didn't like the fact Schuster was getting more attention and was voted the Steelers MVP..

As a Steeler fan I say good riddance to Brown and his childish ego. It's going to be fun watching the train wreck happen in Oakland.

Nah, they got rid of 2 huge distractions, and one GIGANTIC cancer. I think the Steelers will be better this year than people think. Now all they got to do is dump Tomlin and I'll be a happy guy... But 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
 
Austin Seferian-Jenkins just signed with the Patriots. Gronk light for a year or two...depending on if he can stay sober and healthy. But could be a huge opportunity for him.

True, but I would also say that Rodgers has a lot to answer for in regards to his team's woes, and the lack of talent being drafted by the team.
