Nfl 2019

Can't wait for the Patriots to beat up on the Dallas Cowboys tomorrow.

6-4 record, talk about underachieving! The Cowboys won't be winning another SB, at least the rest of Jerry Jones' life.

I suspect the "slur" idea came after the fact....like a week after the fact. Funny thing about these things, though. By now, he probably believes he heard one.

Why would Myles Garrett lie about that?

to show he was incited such that he then took off the quarterback's helmet
to be the provoked victim rather than the aggressor who crossed lines of accepted combat in the NFL trenches

People don't lie about that type of stuff. That's just crazy!

Mason Rudolph called Myles Garrett a Brown. That’s not a racial slur, it’s much worse.

Coach "Clap Clap" Jason Garrett vs the Patriots?

LOL!

But do you really think a man like Garrett would lie about another person directing a racial slur at him when in fact, it didn't happen?

Uh, yes.

Who told the NFL?

Myles Garrett "claims" he never thought his accusation against Rudolph using a racial slur would become public. So, in effect, Garrett was attempting to smear Rudolph in the appeals process without having to suffer the public ridicule of being called out for his blatant attempt to smear Rudolph and excuse his own behavior.

I don't think the NFL leaked Garrett's claim - I think that Rudolph, as well a number of Steelers' linemen who were in on the action, were asked by the NFL to comment on the accusation and they then indignantly informed the public of the attempted smear.

Other than Rudolph and the NFL Referee, all other players involved in the confrontation, from what I saw, are people of color. I don't for a minute believe that another person of color, regardless of their team affiliation, would refuse to acknowledge such a word was used if indeed it was. For that reason alone, I believe Garrett made it up and that makes him the lowest of the low.

Just one other possibility - since some black people seem to excuse their use of the "N" word among themselves as being somehow a term of endearment, maybe one of the other black players on the field at the time used the term and Garrett presumed it had to be Rudolph - that's the most charitable explanation I can give Garrett.

It would not be the first time that such a thing had happened. I would certainly believe someone that was seen performing an act of aggravated assault might also be a liar. The point remains that trying to cook up a reason for taking such a violent action is clearly an indication that the violent action did in fact require intent if not also premeditation as an act of revenge.

Patriots hold the great Cowboys offense to zero touchdowns!

On what planet do the Cowgirls have a great offense? They've played one of the weakest schedules in the NFL prior to today and they had a 6-4 record going into today. The fact that they got shut down from a TD perspective after playing a good team doesn't make that offense look so great after all. But since you repeatedly keep proving that all you do is troll and that you aren't to be taken seriously, this comment of your fits in with the overwhelming majority of your other posts. The 6-5 Colts are a better team than the 6-5 Cowgirls.

Based on the decisions you have been making in fantasy football, it is clear your analysis of actual football is muddled.

Dak Prescott is projected to throw 5,000 passing yards. They have an elite RB in Ezekiel Elliot and a pro bowl WR in Amari Cooper. The Patriots held Cooper to zero catches.

The Cowboys have a collection of pro bowl linemen on their team and the elite Patriots defense shut them out.

Also, the Cowboys have the #1 offense based on yardage, so yes they do have a great offense.

Perhaps you should moderate the abortion or gun subsection of the forum because your post was one big giant swing and a miss.

Watching a few of the games today we can see it was a lovely day here in the Northeast... lol

Anyway, break the Jets up.

If anyone can figure out the Falcons, please post it here.

I think I was in my 40's the last time the Cowboys won a 'signature' game. They got talent but the NEVER seem to go on the road a beat a good team.

Can't say any of the Thanksgiving games are 'must see'. If the 'good' Falcons team shows maybe that game?

Except for the red hair Jon Gruden is a Scott Fargus twin. Same face, same facial expressions, same I'm a brat and an a'hole look about him/them.

I glanced at the board today, best game is tonight. Nothing notable in the day games except seeing the Bengals fall to 0-11 :)

I saw some of the Bengal/Pitt game. For awhile I thought the Bengals were going to win. The Steelers are usually good for losing at least 1 game a year to a team they should absolutely beat. I thought maybe today's game was it.

Anyway you are right, not much good was on today, especially early.. Pats/Cowboys game could have been good, but between the Cowboys never playing good on the road and the weather. It was a boring game. The weather pretty much won the game.. lol

Dallas at NEw England showed why the Ravens may not make it to the SuperBowl. If the Patriots get home field advantage, as good as Jackson has been, I dont think he plays the same game on a wet frozen snowy field.
