NFL Draft is but two days away!

I hope the Bears get Deshaun Watson .... come on, we need a winner!

I hope you don't mean with the #3 pick. I doubt either top-rated QB is worth a first round pick. Trubisky is Fool's Gold.

Im afraid if they dont pick him at #3 overall he wont be there by the 2nd round so they have to take a chance. A franchise QB means everything.

Trade down.

make a deal for teddy bridgewater, now that he is available
so is kaepernick
ditto for johnny football
lots of decent QBs to now choose from

I suspect Kaepernick is the first free agent phone call after day one of the draft.

It is amazing how far and how fast QB's can rise in the draft.

And then reality bites the team in the ass.

Teams can't resist rolling the dice on QBs, no matter the odds, because getting lucky is such a huge benefit. I think o-line is the way to go, though this draft is thin there.

Yeah my Seahawks really need help there. They also need another corner and better depth at safety. I am pretty sure they will take one of each. This draft is teeming with excellent secondary players. I won't be shocked if they trade down.

John Schneider is a whiz. And yet he has never even sniffed Exec. of the yer.

The first two tackles are expected to go in the late 1st. After that, like you said, secondary should be no problem.

I think both OT's will go mid round, IMO, ironically, neither of them are good enough to be left tackles in the NFL, at least not yet.. ;)

Marshawn Lynch is officially a Raider. I wish him all the best, but can't help but feel a little betrayed. He basically dumped the Seahawks for his high school sweetheart.

I don't feel betrayed at all. He left his heart and soul on the field every single day. He has beaten and battered. The time off helped him heal and he misses the game.

He earned the right. We were very lucky to have had him when we did.

They are few if any players that play as tough and intensely as the Beast.

Personally I hope he gets in the Hall.

He definitely gets an 'A' for both effort and productivity. No argument here at all on that.

But he had just signed a 2-year extension with the Hawks, with $12M guaranteed, the year he retired. The Hawks ate a $5M dead money penalty last year for that, when they could've went after him to pay it back. And now that the Hawks have burned most of their cap room this year, including $3M + incentives for Eddie Lacy, and can no longer afford Lynch's old contract, NOW he not only un-retires but insists on NOT playing for the Hawks again. So we were pretty much stuck with having to let him go somewhere, and we were lucky to trade our 6th rounder for a 5th rounder and at least get something out of it. If he'd un-retired and remained a Seahawk (prior to letting us spend so much we can't afford him anymore), we would've had more trade leverage, or at least a better looking run game this year.

When we picked him up from the Bills, he'd been regressing according to the numbers. So in a way, the Hawks helped him just the same as he helped us.

I will say it again, Jimmy G is the best QB available on the market.

Why draft an unproven player like Mitch Trubisky or Deshaun Watson when you have a proven player in Jimmy? Jimmy is a franchise level QB, on par with Aaron Rodgers/Matt Ryan. Giving up two first round picks should be a no-brainer. Acquiring him would make the Browns into at least a 6-7 win team.

History has shown drafting QB's in the first round is risky business... But I guess that is why teams like the Browns, Bears, and Jets are always drafting in the top ten nearly every year!

Being a guy that sticks to what he likes, I would draft a quarterback as pick #199

We all witnessed how that turned out over the years. ;)

2 first round picks for JG?

Yes, for an Aaron Rodgers level style QB? Absolutely.

JG is not Aaron level QB Bucky.

Aaron can throw on the run underhand, sidearm, and 3/4.

Very rare set of tools.

JG can move nicely, but he always goes to the classic set postion before he let's it go. Aaron doesn't need to get set for a accurate pass, and that makes him very special.

You are right. Jimmy G has two rings while Aaron Rodgers has only 1.

Jimmy G is ready. Kid was really good and started all 4 years. Has learned under the best and has the makeup of a star.

Well there you have it then, Clipboard Jesus Junior is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers.
