Nfl 2017 [W:1941,2227]

A good article on what happened to the Redskins when their GM got fired. For all the pounding the Bears take, I'm somewhat glad the team I like doesnt have that kind of dysfunction. Jesus, they could have re-signed Kirk Cousins years ago but egos clashed and now everybody wants out. Wow.

Redskins drama: What went wrong in Washington | The MMQB with Peter King

On another note, the equally horrible Niners grab both Bears backup QBs Hoyer and Barkley. LMAO, you can have them, SF! Why not get Cutler too so you can get a hat trick? :lamo

Put a tent on that circus. As long as assclown Snyder owns the team, they are ****ed.

Sad news. I only ever played football in high school and dreamed of going to the NFL. But after seeing whats happened to the players maybe its good that I never had any talent.

In other news, the Bears are talking to Mark Sanchez ... Mark Sanchez?! WTF!!! :doh

isn't that how the league determines a QB's career to be officially over?

Im not saying his particular case DOESNT involve football...but FFS...my private practice office is right next to a retirement community of about 300 70+ year olds and a large number of them are also suffering from some form of dementia.

Sanchez to the Bears. That would be good. He could mark off another teams uniform off the list. Bears, Browns, Texans, Jets, Broncos, Bills, Vikings, Redskins, Jaguars, Chiefs, Eagles, Rams, and the 40freakin niners. Man...there are a lot of teams with REAL question marks at QB. My first thought about ROmo is "who wants MR Glass at QB?" But the reality is...he probably is the most talented QB on the market. IF he could stay healthy...someone needs him.

Get ready for fewer commercial breaks and better flow during NFL games
Shalise Manza Young,Shutdown Corner 23 hours ago

In Week 16 of the 2016 regular season, the NFL made subtle changes to the broadcast product, an indication that it was taking the decline in ratings seriously.

Those changes will continue.

On Wednesday, the NFL sent an email to fans announcing that it will implement changes aimed at improving game flow and reduce the number of “unnecessary disruptions to the game” to make the experience of watching both in-stadium and at home better.

Very sad. Sayers was the purest runner I ever saw in the NFL. Watching him run was a thing of beauty.

Unfortunately because of injuries IDK if I can call him the greatest running back ever, his career was too short. But those few years? God he was great.

Yeah he was great. There are other great backs whose careers were way too short. ACL was a career ender back in the day...

The Seahawks picked up Eddie Lacy for 1-year $5M, with almost $400k in weight incentives to try and regulate his gummy bear and Chinese food intake. Hoping he'll bring back some of that "Beast Mode" the running game has been missing since '14.

We also let our kicker go to the Bills and picked up Blair Walsh. Walsh already won one playoff game for the Hawks, so why not? Pete Carroll likes his redemption stories.

Marshawn Lynch is NOT going to un-retire and play for the Raiders, and Seattle is NOT interested in trading Richard Sherman. These stupid click-bait rumors need to die a much deserved death.

The Seahawks were humiliated by the Falcons, I don't see much changing in the NFC landscape especially with that prima donna QB Russell Wilson.

Bwahahahaha. Keep em comin. Comedy gold.

Yep, Seattle had too many injuries and Atlanta was just hungrier. Losing Earl Thomas exposed some major depth issues in the secondary. And they never got much of a running game going all season. RB Thomas Rawls was back from last year's injury for only two games before cracking his fibula and missed six weeks. RB C.J. Prosise was looking great in a few games before getting sidelined for the season by a broken shoulder. FB Will Tukuafu went out with a concussion in week 14 and never returned. And the running game relies heavily on Russel Wilson's read options, but he got a twisted ankle in week 2, a sprained MCL in week 4, and a torn pectoral in week 7 or something.

Sure things might stay mostly the same this year, but you gotta admit RW is a pretty good QB even if you don't like him personally.

Future humiliated him in the playoffs. Russell Wilson is more focused on being a celebrity than a QB these days.

And Tom Brady is actually gay.

Russell Wilson was distracted by his wife's ex-husband. He was at the Falcons game taunting him thus explaining his dreadful performance.

He is the Tom Cruise of the NFL.

Let's make **** up shall we?

Just so everyone remembers, today is 3/28, which was the score of the Super Bowl with 2:14 left in the 3rd Quarter.

If I were the Seahawks GM, I would consider trading Sherman to the Cowboys for their first round pick. This draft is filled with a lot of good cornerbacks. I wouldn't be surprised if the Seahawks drafted 2-3 CBs - Adoree' Jackson, Kevin King, Sidney Jones?

The money saved from Sherman can be used to bring in Sheldon Richardson from the Jets. The Seahawks would be only giving up a late draft pick and if Richardson acts out, they can cut him. Richardson IMO is a perfect player to bring in because he is entering his contract year and all-pro talent. If he has a big year that would mask the youth in the secondary.

Wtf is Jerry Jones doing with Romo? It looks to me like he's keeping a $27M backup QB on the roster.

Maybe he thinks he can pkg the guy off on draft day. Who knows? I see a Dallas disaster in the making.

As more time goes along the price for Tony Romo increases.

Also, CBS is offering Romo the lead broadcasting job to replace Phil Simms. CBS may offer Romo more money and him retiring would save the Cowboys more money than releasing him.

Let's pencil in the Patriots for another Super Bowl victory.

I look at their team and see no weaknesses. Only thing I could suggest is offensive line depth, lol.

Aaron Hernandez apparently hung Himself
