You are forgetting how Mitt Romney raised taxes when he was governor of Massachusetts.
You are also forgetting that he created RomneyCare.
Mitt Romney has a "big government" track record.
Okaaaay....but this is about Newt. Everyone knows Mitt is a big government guy.
Newt may have passed some legislation the you disagreed with, but at least unemployment was a lot lower when he was Speaker of the House.

And everyone knows glen beck is anti Gingrich and pro Romney.
I fail to see the contradiction. How can you be a supporter of small gov but also run for president? The whole thing seems silly!
Post your favorite big government Newt videos here!

Congratulations...you've shown that newt is one of 3 big government Republicans running for the nomination.
What exactly is your point? Forgive me if I don't give a crap about your feigned outrage about his "big governmentness" when you are champion Santorum continually. Its nothing but selective outrage.
Um, Santorum isn't my choice.
He is however the one you continually keep suggesting as the best of the bunch. Who is your choice then?
No, I don't. I've been telling the pro-Newt people here (these so-called conservatives) that Santorum should be their vote since he's the most conservative (fiscally and socially) of any of the 4 left.
I have thought long and hard about this. I started out for Cain. I was with him until the crap about the women. Then I thought I would just go for Romney since he could probably beat Obama. But I just can't do it. I have to go with the person who is closest to my beliefs. It's Ron Paul.
Santorum is the most fiscally and socially conservative.
I'm not as socially conservative as I used to be. I cannot agree with Santorum on most of what he says in that respect. Plus, he's had some votes that really annoy me as well. Even though I disagree with Ron Paul's foreign policy plan, he's the most sane on how to get this country back on it's feet economically. He won't win the nomination, but he'll get my vote in the primary.
You forgot to add that Ron Paul works with Barney Frank, and George Soros.
This might seem strange, but now, and I mean now, Gingrich isn't Big government.
You are forgetting how Mitt Romney raised taxes when he was governor of Massachusetts.

Mitt Romney has a "big government" track record.
.All of the remaining candidates have a "big governement" track record with the exception of Paul.
Gingrich has supported the health insurance mandate in the past and a lot of his current campaign pitches have been "big government," i.e. NASA, dredging Charleston, etc.
Santorum voted for the Medicare D, Medicare's largest expansion since its inception. No Child Left Behind, never saw an earmark he didn't like and supports a Constitutional ban on gay marriage.
.
Ron Paul is the King of Earmarks.
