Im sorry i guess everyone would be satisfied if Mueller only had republicans to work with him on collusion .. I really love the Republicans when black lives matter talked about the police doing bad things it was a joke and waste of time also everyone backed the police .. now when trump slanders and talks about the FBI and DOJ being corrupt and doing things they should not be doing and after him ...that is quite ok... lol lol lol give me a break

There are tons of things that suddenly turn out to be just fine:
- Evangelicals are just fine with one of the most corrupt men any of them will ever run into because of Trump's stand on abortion...
- The entire Right appears to be just fine with Rudy outing our efforts with regard to the three US citizens we are trying to get released from N. Korea and nobody gives a rats behind because Rudy is only "trying to protect Saint Donald" and who cares if Rudy guns down three prosecutors in the process. "Its only justice isn't it"

We are a laughing stock. But for some of us it just does not matter.

George W. Bush appointed Norman Mineta, Democrat, as his Secretary of Transportation who served from 2001 to 2006. He appointed several Democrats to judgeships. He and Bill Clinton were pretty cozy in the lead up to the 2016 primaries frequently being interviewed and photographed together and described as having become friends in their post presidential years. But I am pretty sure Mueller was a Republican when Bush appointed him FBI Director in 2001. I don't know what his political leanings are now. Registering for a political party is not necessarily a lifetime commitment.

They have to be because the same body of evidence, codified law and precedent is available to both plaintiffs and defendants. Thus to mount the strongest possible defense, defense attorney must look at the available information and anticipate what sound/cogent assertions (because fallacious ones will fall to objection) the prosecution will make using the available information. Similarly, strong prosecutors must look at the same body of information and identify the plausible sound/cogent rebuttals to their arguments/assertions. An attorney's political affiliation has no impact on the soundness/cogency of his/her assertions and arguments.

Trump chose Flood because he believes him to be the most capable attorney available for the type of representation Trump will require of him. That's same approach anyone uses in selecting an attorney.

Of course that is true. How many lawyers have defended a President in an impeachment trial? Trump knows that is nearly a certainty and I'm glad he has a competent lawyer to defend him. The same criteria applies to the prosecution and to say that a man who gave money to a Democrat is automatically biased against Republicans is insulting and patently false. What it appears like is that the only "fair" prosecutor is one that looks the other way at law breaking. It also appears that even Trump supporters know Trump is guilty.
