Nosy is the first thing that popped in my head. He looks curious and his nose is front and center. Cute little fella, and kudos for picking him from the shelter. He's hopefully hit the jackpot.

I liked KokoMojo

I had a poodle named Pancake when I was a kid.

I forgot what his original name was but he ended up being Pancake after his bad habit..... chasing cars.

Love Einstein but a bit difficult to call him ."Ein,ein, ein" - no, doesn't really work. If you want something related to Malta the second biggest island is Gozo. GO Gozo GO! sounds good.

Yum yum chutes and ladders!!!!! Actually that is an epic random name, named after the guard tower stray dos I had named kujo, which we renamed marmaduke and yum yum chutes and ladders. He was a great dane who had his eyelids and ears cut off by the local afghan population as well as having acid poured on his face. He was a good dog but man did he ever hate the local afghan population, but he loved american and uzbeki soldiers. We also had a dog named charlie after the movie all dogs go to heaven.

Try peeves, so you can always have a pet peeves!!!

Maltoodle would fit his geneology and is not at all quotidian.

My wife says you might want to have a doctor look at his eys and maybe paw. He really is sweet.
