Nearly two-thirds of voters think Trump committed crimes before taking office, poll finds

I would argue Obama's blatant and arrogant executive overreach far exceeds anything Trump has done in office.
Then again, that makes you the same kind of person who ignores our Constitution, right?

No one in the Obama administration was indicted. How many criminals do you need to see within Trump's circle before it finally sinks in that he is unfit and unworthy?

There's a bit of a difference between a crowd at a campaign rally hollering "lock her up!" and various congressional committees, a special prosecutor and various state attorneys general yelling "lock him up". Among other things, the former can't do it and the latter can.

Oh the Conservatives are all for plenty of oversight when it comes to a Dem in the WH, not so much when its one of their own. Trump has really convinced the gullable he is a martyr, what BS. Remember, the Dems were elected to conduct some oversight and thats what they will get.

I am not here to teach you. You should have done that before posting and knowing how presidential succession works is basic civics.

The Speaker only becomes President IF BOTH the President and the Vice President are unable to fulfill the obligations of the office at the same time.
Your rant about impeachment is only further proof how clueless you are about your mistake.

Clearly you are not here to teach me. I did not make a mistake. You did.

My original quote you responded to follows... The one you said I needed to learn basic civics...

1.If, The Democrats succeed in actually removing Trump from office prior to the end of his current term in office via impeachment, Pence is the 1st in line to finish Trumps term.

2. Now, if they only get the kind of impeachment that happened to Bill Clinton. Trump would finish his term and Pence would remain the Vice-President.

3. Now, if the Dems accomplish a Nixon type impeachment and get Trump to resign... Then Pence finishes Trump term as President.

4. Now, if the Dems could take out Pence (not going to happen) Pelosi would be the next in line for President.

Please Note:

1st sentence. Trump out of office. Pence 1st in line to take his place.

2nd sentence Clinton impeached but not removed from office due to Senate ruling. Trump & Pence. Remain as POTUS & V.P.

3rd sentence Nixon impeached & resigns. Trump impeached & resigns. V.P. Pence finishes Trump term as President.

4th sentence Pence taken out by Dems... Pelosi is next in the line of succession.

Note in the scenarios where V.P. Pence replaces Trump as the President and then the Dems manage to take him out... that is when Pelosi becomes President.

Your low expectation of my intelligence hindered your ability to connect my scenarios 1 & 3 with scenario 4 as Pence being taken out by Dems in order to put Dem. Pelosi into the Ofiice of the President.

Removing the V.P. without the previous removal of the President would not be worth their effort and would clearly be a waste of time.

But, hey if you think the Dems would take out the V.P. after they failed to take out Trump.

Go with that, in order to continue your idea, I need a basic civic lesson.

Roseann:)

Boy, that sure makes the President less of a liar. Glad you pointed it out.

She wouldn't

1. have fawned over Putin & KJU as if diplomacy were dependent on gooey friendships.

2 She woldn't have made reckless blurts in the public arena such as the "fire and fury" rant by the President.

3. She would have signed the Paris accord.

4. She wouldn't have repealed hundreds of important environmental laws.

5. The WH would be well staffed ( staff are departing in droves in Trump's whitehouse ).

6. She wouldn't have gutted the state department. The State department would have ambassadors in every important country, at the minimum.

7. She wouldn't have given the super rich the tax break of the century, resulting in careening deficits hitherto unseen in history.

I could go on, but why bother, you've swallowed the Trump kool aid, there is no hope for you.

So when the Democratic Controlled House of Representatives votes to impeach(the presidential equivalent of an indictment) you will fully back his impeachment?

That is all a Jury ever has.

Except for the fact that James Comey, who was a Registered Republican at the time and had every reason in the world to want to see Hillary Clinton go to prison knew full well, her actions were not bad enough to warrant any kind of charges against her. Clinton was at worst Negligent. Donald Trump intentionally, knowingly, willingly flaunted the law on numerous occasions.

He flaunts national security every time he uses his iPhone.

So certain laws are Ok to break and not others?

Why are you so sure they all did it? I have never taken drugs of any kind. I am sure there are people like me out there.

I'm not one of them, but I agree with you, many people have never used illegal drugs. And that includes Trump, who by all reports never drinks, smokes, or uses drugs. In his case, I think he makes a vice out of virtue in that regard.

It means I'm calling out the left's hypocrisy when they would have been just fine with crooked Hillary as president.

Just fine? No. Better than with Trump in the White House? You betcha.

So for you it is a matter of degree. OK, got it.

It's a matter of the number of victims. If I'm busted for smoking a joint, who was hurt by my actions? Nobody but me. If I'm running for president and pay hush money two weeks before the election in order to silence a couple of tawdry tales that could influence voters against me, who is hurt by my actions? All Americans.

Fake News. This is USA Today. They have been known fix their own polls, not report the facts, and give more opinions than actual news. Move this to the Conspiracy Theories section then I can talk about it. Thank you!

It wasn't a USA Today poll. It was Quinnipiac. You didn't read the article, or you would have known that.

Is that the rule?
What level of law-breaking becomes serious for you? Or is it the perp that makes it decisive for you? If so that would suggest a seriously questionable moral compass.
On a related matter, are you in a position to know what most Americans want?

It's about the number of victims, which in Trump's case is all of us.

There are lots of polls. Too many. But they agree on some things, and one of those is that Trump's supporters are a minority.

Again, the above point is lost on you.
Since you love this poll so much, note: Congress should not begin impeachment proceedings against Trump, American voters say 59 - 35 percent.

That's only because most Americans want them to wait for Mueller's report. If they impeach Trump, we want them to have more smoking guns than there were at Little Big Horn. We want the evidence to be clear, concise, straightforward, and unequivocal. Otherwise, Trumpettes will never let us hear the end of it. Hell, they probably won't anyway, no matter the evidence, but we want it to be clear enough to throw at them on forums like this.

No argument there. Yet you libs have consistently given both Clintons a pass.

Us libs gave them no such thing. He was impeached, he still hasn't lived that down, or the other times he couldn't keep it zipped. She was not found even close enough to guilty to bother indicting. No one in the history of American politics has been more deeply investigated than Hillary Clinton, yet it just doesn't occur to you righties that maybe she's just not guilty.

Irrelevant. Clinton is not running anymore. This thread is about Trump's crimes.

That's just isn't it? You know damn well that Trump has zero chance of winning another term running against any other candidate. Any candidate that Republicans haven't had 20 long years to spam with lies and make up stories about will mop the floor with Trump. So you have to make the election about Hillary whether really has anything to do about it or not.

Unless Russia helps him again with another massive disinformation deluge via social media, smearing his opponent with bull**** stories as they did Clinton. She may not be squeeky clean, but she isn't guilty of half the crap they had people believing in 2016. And in the interim, the LAST thing the Trump administration wanted was a task force to stop the Russians, so they're ready and waiting.

Why don't you just make it easy on everyone and state what you think.

Would you have been fine with crooked Hillary as president? Yes, no, or maybe. By the way, a maybe is a yes.

I'll answer that. Yes, Hillary would have been fine as president in my opinion, because she has a work ethic and knows how to do that job. Plus, most of the "crooked" stuff you believe about her is made up bull****. She would have been better for America, period.

It's actually funny when you guys are nothing but whataboutTrump and then call out the other side for whataboutism.

This thread is about Trump's credibility vs Cohen's. It isn't about Hillary.

True, impeaching Trump will not put Clinton in the White House. If, Dems are successful and remove Trump from office...

Vice-President Pence will take his place as President. What kind of dirt do you think the Dems will use to remove him from office?

So, they can get a Pelosi Presidency.

Roseann:)

Not even Pelosi wants Pelosi as president.

What's getting old is the left claiming that Trump is scum and yet they would have accepted Hillary as president. I didn't vote for either.

I would have accepted Hillary as president because Trump was the alternative.

That is the only reason I voted for her.

If I had been asked on that poll about whether she was a liar, I probably would have leaned towards liar.

But still better than Trump.
