Just watched the hearing where after years of appeals-state and federal, African American Judge Tracy Hunter was given 6 months in prison. Her appeals had been denied by numerous courts including Obama-Appointed Federal District Judge Tim Black and a Democrat US Magistrate-Judge. When the deputies came to take her, she went limp and forced the lady deputy to drag her out of the court house. This just happened so I will try to put some news reports on this thread. An angry crowd of mostly African American supporters of the disgraced former judge are still shouting and complaining.

Trump does something horribly unAmerican every day. Of course, it requires having a sense of empathy for others to understand why that is a problem.

then your position is that a white judge who was tossed into the prison system after due process at each level of the appeals system would not be newsworthy ... especially after that former judge had to be carried out of the courtroom

A white male judge would not be “tossed in prison” for this minor violation. If you disagree, find one. I couldn’t. But I did find a lot of white men who did far worse things and were not sent to prison at all, including a guy named Jeffery Epstein.
