NBA 2017-18 Season

I wouldn't be surprised if the 76'ers beat the brakes off the Cavaliers. in the playoffs.

Fultz is back. They signed Marco Belinelli.

The chances of a non Warriors-Cavs finals is looking very possible!!!

Boston may not get past the Bucks. And, Toronto should be able to beat Cleveland, unless they get the yips. Of course, James may just take over again in the Eastern Con playoffs, as usual. Odds are likely that if Cleveland stays healthy and LeBron plays well, Cavs will go back to the finals.

Speaking of healthy, without a healthy Steph and/or Klay, Houston should beat GS, if the Warriors even get out of the first round. The West is stacked. OKC, Portland, NO, even MN and Utah have a chance to upset an injured Warrior team.

Warriors fall to Pacers without stars in lineup (0:58)

[h=1]Warriors don't have enough down stretch, lose to Pacers[/h]The injury-plagued Golden State Warriors again lacked the firepower to finish off an opponent, and Victor Oladipo scored 24 points in the Indiana Pacers' 92-81 victory over the defending champions Tuesday night.

Karl Anthony Towns goes for 56, with 15 rebounds, as MN whips the Hawks.

Goddamn it

I want to know why Lonzo Ball is the most scrutinized rookie it seems in NBA history for his 3-point shooting and free throws when Ben Simmons hasn't made 1 3-pointer in the NBA and is a terrible free throw shooter.

Because ball shoots sideways?

Is this coach Cal? Where is the link?

Amazing to me is how good OKC should be but isn't. Best offensive rebounder in the league, two great shooters and one giant ball hog. Yep, I blame Russ. He kind of sucks at the end of games.

Case in point, from last night:

MVP Contenders

1. Kyrie
2. Harden
3. Westbrook
4. Lebron
5. Giannis
6. Durant
7. Steph
8. Aldridge

Eliminate Kyrie, Durant, Steph and Harden for taking too much time off.
Remove Russ since his stacked team can't even host a playoff series
That leaves Lebron, Giannis and Aldridge.

I'm going with James. But, the other two are probably at least as deserving.

The Raptors according to "Cal's' math are more likely to win the title than the Cavs yet the likely finals matchup is Cavs-Warriors?

Same with Houston.

Playoff experience uber alles.

MVP Mr Zero games missed, showed up again tonight.

So did Clarkson, Hood, and Calderon. Special accolades for Jordan. He's my favorite Cav right now not named James.

Congrats to LBJ as he breaks another huge record: MJ's 867-game, 10-point minimum scoring streak. Yeah, maybe scoring ten points a game in the NBA is no big deal...you might think. But, doing it every night, for over ten years, is huge.

How huge was it? Dig this.

867: If you added up the longest double-digit points streaks of the following 15 players' careers, it would equal James' all-time mark of 867 games: LaMarcus Aldridge (84), Giannis Antetokounmpo (82), Karl-Anthony Towns (75), Stephen Curry (74), Goran Dragic (60), Kyrie Irving (58), Chris Paul (57), Klay Thompson (56), John Wall (55), Paul George (55), Anthony Davis (52), Kemba Walker (48), Jimmy Butler (44), Kristaps Porzingis (34) and Al Horford (33). That's an All-Star lineup.

610: James Harden has the second-longest active streak at 257 straight games, 610 fewer than LeBron James. James' streak is more than the next seven active streaks combined.

The stats you need to know about LeBron James's record-breaking scoring streak

Another W for BelieveLand

And, the Raptors go down. Hell, it wasn't really ever much of a game, as the Cavs were up by roughly 10 points for most of it. Closest it came was during garbage time when the Toronto bench made a late run and cut it to 4. But, the final score does not reflect how lousy the Raptors played last night.

Raptors vs. Cavaliers - Box Score - April 3, 2018 - ESPN

Right now, in the East, the 76'ers are the hottest team, with Cleveland and Boston right behind. Philly is on an 11-game winning streak; Cavs are 9-1, and Celts are 7-3. At 5-5, Toronto is in a slump and in danger of losing the 1-seed. They play the Celts tonight.

So, LA in Bruin blue is taking SA to the final seconds. 108 each with less than a minute to go.

Boston was blown out by Toronto. So, does this mean the Cavs are a lock? Probably is my guess. LeBron owns the East. He really does.
