Those so called asylum seekers were not rounded, not sent to slave labor camps and their families were not torn apart without any trace. Their claim of asylum will be checked and they either be released on our side of the border if their claims have merit or let out on the other side of the border if their claims have no merit. Your claim that they are asylum seekers in reality is a bald faced lie. They have merely been coached to request asylum, knowing that most will be given a court date a year or two off and then will be released. Roughly 2% ever show up for those asylum hearings.

No. We ask for a sane border policy and a secure border. It is the other side which is responsible for the current situation. I think just admitting you want open borders instead of pretending otherwise would really clear the air and free up the debate. That way, instead of arguing about who has separated children and the like, we can debate the real issue, which is whether we should have an actual border and the ability to control who crosses it.

They have food and water and blankets. Now look at the background, you will see a row of modern porta potties and a basin to wash hands in.

As they were marching between one and two thousand miles with only what they could carry, where did they sleep, where did they get food and drink for them and their children, where were the toilet facilities?

They were not asked to cross our border and yet they are receiving better care than our own homeless population.
