How can it not be hate when the organizers of the straight pride parade admitted that they are "peaceful racists"? What reason is there to oppose LGBT equal rights? Are the LGBT taking something from you by the fact that they have secular rights equal to what you and I already enjoy? Why is opposing abortion a topic for a straight pride parade when it is hetero women who get pregnant and have abortions?

Pro-life people should support the LGBT community because if there is one demographic that do not have abortions is it gays, lesbians and transgender people.

I am arguing that America is not a nation of systemic racism... not that discrimination does not exist or that there are aspects of privilege that exist in all forms... but today people seem focused on White people and white men having privilege at the expense of everybody else.

Not much is a real guarantee besides death and taxes (oho!) but on a societal level that is usually the case. Like it has been explained before, this is an analysis of the societal forces at play and has little to do with individuals.

The vast majority of liberals are white heterosexuals. I'm a lefty progressive female and I support Bernie Sanders. An old white heterosexual man.

There will be a need for a straight parade when people are born and assumed to be LGBT and heteros have to fight for equal rights. When was the last time someone was refused service in a public business or fired for being heterosexual or CIS?

Do you have any evidence of non-homosexual discrimination? Can you post it here, I'm truly interested. Otherwise I'll just restate my accusation of your unjustified paranoia.

Recent personal experience: myself and a mother of a gay person went to a local gay pride parade a couple of weeks ago- Although we are both straight, everyone there treated both with awesome hospitality. I'm going next year. I have an extra pride t-shirt if you want one!

You can't be serious. Racism existed in the current day US before prostitution did. It's literally the first thing that white Europeans brought to the continent. People "seem focused" on white privilege because white people built a country, along with all of its economic, cultural, and political systems, to benefit themselves to the measurable detriment of people unlike them. It's the most basic form of simple cause and effect, but it's only ancillary to a straight pride parade.
