Multiculturalism Reaches a Tipping Point in South Africa

You don't just "point that out". You blame multiculturalism; that's racist.

All I did was state that the multiracial society is becoming more and more violent. How would you describe it?

Here's a definition of 'bigot'. What does it say about false? I call BS on all that religious mumbo-jumbo as your sign off as well. You won't get me into any further tit for tat, you are a bigot by definition. Have a nice day!

Merriam-Webster said:
a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices

By that definition, everyone on this forum is a bigot.

You don't just "point that out". You blame multiculturalism; that's racist.

How intellectually superior do you feel when you produce absolutely zero arguments and just brand the other person racist?

You sound like a complete idiot and that is objectively true. If you believe opposition to blind multiculturalism is racist, produce an argument. Don't just roll your face over the SJW keyboard and think you've won.

It's a mess. The wounds and negative consequences of colonialism last long after the actual colonizers are dead and buried.

His claim is racist. I didn't say he was a racist. Do you enjoy playing the victim card?

You sound like a complete idiot and that is objectively true.

Should I play the victim card to make you feel better?

1. Multiculturalism exists in many places that don't experience genocide, thus it is not the cause.
2. Blaming multiculturalism is a rationalization of one's hate.
3. Hating multiculturalism is racist.
4. Apologizing for regimes guilty of genocide by blaming multiculturalism is racist.
5. Defining multiculturalism as black and white is racist.
6. Ignoring the vast multiculturalism in SA beyond 'black and white' is racist.

So multiracialism is to blame, not multiculturalism? As if your ignorant representation of multiculturalism didn't already tell us you believed that.

Victim card is not an argument.

Nothing else you said are arguments either, lol.

I'm asking that if you believe an adversity to multiculturalism is racist, you need to give a coherent argument. Saying "such and such is racist" is not an argument. You're welcome to make the argument for the virtues of multiculturalism if you'd actually like to make a real argument.

I really don't care if you get it. I post for the audience. Any educated or critical thinking person sees the value in my clearly presented argument.

Good day.

Good day.

But it isn't an argument.

I know that this goes against the propaganda over the past few decades, but South Africa is not a post-racial paradise. In fact, it looks like it's heading toward genocide, or at least civil war.

Well, considering how horrifically the Afrikaners treated the black community, it's hardly suprising there would be backlash. Mandela was able to keep a lid on things, but...

Let's take land away from the mean ole White man, because that's never led to disaster in Africa!

You do know that once the Brits bailed out on defending Rhodesia, Botswana, and SA, the whites really never stood a chance to hold that land. Right?

It looks like it's following Zimbabwe by taking back land from whites, who they consider invaders, and giving it to blacks, who they consider natives.

And it will be just as disasterous as it was for Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe was once considered "the breadbasket of Africa". Some time later, Mugabe started seizing White-owned farms and giving it to his cronies and Blacks who had zero farming experience. Look at it now.

"Adversity to multiculturalism" may not be racist but it's definitely meaningless. You need a dictionary.
Multiculturalism, as Eco pointed out to you, is not multiracial. Take whites and Indians out of South Africa and it's still a multicultural society. In fact, multiculturalism was imposed on most sub-Sahara countries by the imperialist powers who drew up borders around conference tables in Europe, with no regard for the natural boundaries between different people. It's a problem that won't be solved any time soon. It's as if a border were drawn down the middle of France, and one side were part of Spain, the other part of Germany. You can imagine (well, I can imagine) the different effect that would have regarding multiculturalism versus the more organic situation in Switzerland, where the same degree of multiculturalism wasn't imposed by outside forces.

The link works for me. Perhaps it's an https issue?

It's odd. Your link, titled

President Jacob Zumahas called on parliament to change South Africa’s constitution to allow the expropriation of white owned land without compensation.

leads to a page titled

Brawl in South African parliament interrupts President Jacob Zuma speech

I'm looking for more information about confiscation of lands without compensation, which seems to be the premise of this thread.
Can you direct me?

Using the term multiculturalism in your title was misguided to begin with.

The violence in SA is nothing more than a predictable backlash after a long history of oppression.

People do no forgive overnight.

Well, karma is a bitch. Who brought racial preferences to the continent, introduced race into the game, to begin with?

Rhodesia, the bread basket of Africa, now it's famous for economic annihilation.

Guess what else Rhodesia was once known for?

Being a tolitarian, white supremacist hellhole.

But I'm not suprised you think apartheid was a good thing. And before you start screaming "but that was South Africa"--- South Africa propped up the Rhodesians for many years after the rest of the west looked away in disgust.

Just look up that quote on Google and you'll get enough other links. I'm still not sure why you're not getting this one.
