I don't think anyone can argue that this investigation was not opened purely for political reasons and based on nothing more than wishful speculation. Well over a year later (however many man hours that is - it'a LOT of taxpayer money)

At some point, one has to consider that this man has been "investigating" this every day for more than a year now. He obviously has not come up with anything with which to bring charges or he would have done so. Neither will he close the investigation. Instead, he chooses to conduct an illegal raid on the office of Trumps attorney while the "Russia" investigation goes on in limbo.

Clearly, he is either incompetent, or he is abusing his position in government by using it for personal political exploitations AGAINST a sitting POTUS (at the expense of taxpayers), and for this he should be fired. Both are valid reasons to fire him.

You are openly calling for the wrath from the liberals ... :)

You guys think the more stupid **** you make up, the more it becomes true? There is mounds of connections linking Trump to questionable practices, a lot of as of now circumstantial evidence of his Russia connections, people in his admin are being indicted and taking plea deals, his behavior of trying to impede or discredit the investigation, and his entire history of questionable ethics and business dealings. All this is undeniable

Meanwhile, Bengazi went on and on and was the biggest crock of ****, that's what a real politicial witch hunt looks like.

You are openly calling for the wrath from the liberals ... :)

AKA trolling

I believe there were a significant number of charges that arose from Mueller's investigation

Flynn, Manafort, Papadopolus, Page.

As for the raid on Cohen, that was not undertaken by Mueller. It was an independent operation. Mueller just passed information on to other people

Don't confuse them with facts.

Would you tell us exactly what was illegal about the raid on Michael Cohens property?

My prediction:

This poll will give us a reasonable depiction of the ratio of Trump supporters to Trump detractors, currently active today on the board!

Sure, but this thread is definitely calling for the extreme nutcases on the left to come out ...

They'll be here shortly.

BTW: all the charges so far have been beyond the scope of the original investigation...aka WITCHHUNT

Direct us to the scope of the original investigation and show us where these investigations have gone wrong. You dont have a clue to what you are talking about

Don't confuse them with facts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Counsel_investigation_(2017–present)#Criminal_charges

Rather impossible task

The link provides a list of all the charges so far associated with the Mueller investigation. I did not add them all up, but the number has to be over 50 charges against 19 different people.

If some people can not remember those facts, trying not to confuse them with facts, is impossible, they obviously are ignorant and proud of it

He shouldn't be fired, but neither should he be permitted to weaponize this investigation for political purposes, which it what it seems like is happening. Nobody liked it when wikileaks and Comey did it.

You are openly calling for the wrath from the liberals ... :)

The wrath has been everyday anyway. It'll never stop. They are so deceitful - they call themselves "liberal" while at the same time campaigning to do away with both the first AND second amendments.

There will be some outliers. For example, I'm a Trump supporter and I don't think Mueller should be fired.

I DO think his job should be ended for lack of reason for the investigation and lack of results.

So, IOW, you have absolutely no idea how investigations work or what this one involves and the scope of it.

False dichotomies are nothing to base a rational argument on.

Yeah, but it's more than a little sad that the ratio of Trump supporters to Trump detractors is almost exactly the same as the ratio of people who believe the President is above the law to people who don't.

For the trump supporters who voted that he shouldn't be fired, I'd be curious what you believe the consequences should be if he is.

Hmmmm, let see now.:2wave:

James Comey, Republican - appointed by George Bush as deputy AG, then promoted to FBI director.
Rod Rosenstein, Republican - appointed by Trump as deputy AG.
Geoffrey Berman, Republican - appointed by Trump as interim US attorney in south NY.
Christopher Wray, Republican - appointed by Trump as FBI director.
Robert Mueller, Republican, - appointed by George Bush as FBI director, considered by Trump for interim FBI director.

Incredible, Democrats are so good at conspiracies, they've managed to recruit all Republican law enforcement to lead it, and tricked Trump into appointing these people into high level positions within the government.

God damn, conservatives are so ****ing crazy right now.

Fodder. They won't even be extradited because it's not illegal for a Russian to post on social media. The way you win a presidency is by not doing scandalous things that people can post about.

The OP is exactly the OPPOSITE of that and appeal to the righties to strut their stuff in support of trump.

No consequences.

If Trump fires Mueller, he is well within his right as President.

How's your poll going?

You don't seem to mind Trump wasting $3+ million every weekend golfing at his properties. When you ditch the hypocrisy, let me know,

It’s usually the way these things shake out.
