There was a ton of communication between Russian agents and the Trump campaign. We only knew about a little before. 25 Russians indicted, half intelligence agents. Campaign manager, personal attorney, members of his cabinet are in prison.

We also learned that he directed people to lie, and they refused, on a number of occasions.

Mueller Report Corroborates Russian Meddling, Signals Potential Legal Problems For Trump

Mueller's report details extensive contacts between the campaign and Russian operatives who sought to influence the U.S. election.

Mueller concluded that Russia definitely meddled in the 2016 election with the explicit intention of helping Donald Trump to win.

Trump has never apologized to the American people, or to the US intelligence community, for publicly stating that he believed Vladimir Putin's meddling denials rather than his own intelligence agencies.

The Mueller indictment came out in Feb of last years claiming they “engaged in operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.”

They also promoted Black Lives Matter campaign and are reported to have funded Bernies rallies.
