Most important person in and NFL organization?

Can you think of an instance where a top QB in their prime went deep into the playoffs with a bad coach?

Troy Aikman won a Super Bowl with Barry Switzer

On a more serious note Kurt Warner went to the SB with Whisenhunt and not sure if he would qualify as a top QB but Vick made a conference championship with Mora

McDaniels is a man that cannot be trusted. He's a good OC but I wouldn't want him as a HC.

Keeping McDaniels and Edelman coming back...we’re going back Bucky book it now

I would guess Josh McDaniels is good friends with Brady (they are the same age). As far as I can remember, he is the only Patriots coach that Bill has brought back after leaving.

That being said, he broke his word with the Colts. IMO he doesn't deserve to be a head coach in the NFL. I have a sinking feeling he is the heir-apparent to Bill, which I would not like.

The Colts official website is not updated lol:

Colts Owner & CEO Jim Irsay and General Manager Chris Ballard will introduce Josh McDaniels on Wednesday, February 7 at 4:00 p.m.

Josh McDaniels Press Conference 4 p.m. on February 7 - Watch Live

If you owned an NFL team and you could be guaranteed one person who was the absolute best at their job and they would be with your team for the next 10 years, who would you choose? I would probably choose a head coach, although quarterback and GM make sense to me as well. One instance to support my theory is the Patriots doing well even while Brady was out and the Colts going down the tubes the season Manning was hurt.

That one year Brady was injured, the Patriots didn't even make the playoffs.

Brady has been the constant for the Patriots. Remember, Bill was average with Cleveland and average pre Brady.

11-5 with Cassell. Brady did the same or worse 4 times.

Yep only been 11 qbs that have won more than 1 Sb which shows you that you need a great one to build a dynasty.

Actually been twelve.

Tom Brady - Patriots
Joe Montana - 49ers
John Elway - Broncos
Peyton Manning - Colts/Broncos
Eli Manning - Giants
Ben Rothlisberger - Steelers

Roger Staubach - Cowboys
Troy Aikman - Cowboys
Terry Bradshaw - Steelers
Bob Griese - Dolphins
Bart Starr - Packers
Jim Plunkett - Raiders

QB..

Even a great coach needs some talent on the field. And QB is probably the most important position in any team sport, so to build a long term successful team getting a talented QB is priority #1.
