Missing Idaho Kids - Should Mother Be Arrested???

Should Lori Vallow Be Arrested?

Here's one: by law they need to be in school or home schooled.

To clarify your post...for any individual whose child/children were unable to be found and they refused to tell them where they were...no welfare check, no investigation?

That probably is a Democrat party law.

Clearly you do not understand either the JW nor the LDS.

My church, the LDS have no such cults as talked about here.

It is next to impossible for a JW to accept the LDS doctrine.

You are welcome to shoot off your face since you do not allege you are either a JW nor the LDS church.

Repeating it over and over and over again doesn't change the facts -- Preparing a People (events that Chad was a speaker at) were LDS-affiliated. Chad wrote books that were LDS-affiliated. And Lori has said herself that she's married to the book of Mormon prophet. They are delusional, scary people. Just because you don't know the fringe cult behaviors in your religion doesn't mean they don't exist.

"Preparing A People" was a series of lecture events focusing on self-reliance and personal preparation. These provided several LDS speakers and authors an educational forum. Associated with these events were podcasts, videos and websites used to advertise and distribute some of their content.

How can you not be arrested for not being able to produce your kids? How is that alone not illegal?

I'm sure they CAN arrest her, but they want to get more information out of her without her immediately lawyer-ing up.

This presumes the children are with them. They very well could be elsewhere under a different jurisdiction and laws. It's none of the states business until they can bring proof to courts it should be, at which point the matter is adjudicated. They have an option to bring civil suit. Why hasn't that avenue been pursued?

I saw your other post and that does sound reasonable. Esp if they do believe the kids are dead.

The entire sentence makes no sense.

I'm feeling charitable, so let's break it down. A non-JW marrying a JW is a hopeless and stupid marriage. It's sadly desperate.

You said you'd read up on the case. Since you have, you would know that the mother and her new husband have told the police where the kids were -- they weren't there. So they said there were somewhere else - they weren't there. It IS the business of the state when children are missing.

My guess is 17 skipped town and took baby bro with her. Mom probably doesn't know where they are.

It does not presume that. If she is their legal guardian, then she is responsible for providing proof of their education. That's the law...if it's in another jurisdiction, she must provide that so it can be verified there.

So was this also your answer to this: "for any individual whose child/children were unable to be found and they refused to tell them where they were...no welfare check, no investigation?"

Because it really didnt answer that ^^ question. Can you further clarify your perspective?

It should also be noted that the mother has NOT filed a missing person report or anything.

However, every explanation she's given to the police about the location of the children has been a lie.

is all that considered evidence?

Then why didn't she report them missing? Why isn't she concerned? Why did she say she knew where they were? Why didn't the 17 year old take her phone with her?

Your "guess" holds very little water when you look at the evidence instead of just knee-jerk reacting.

Yes. I have given you plenty of data to support my commentary.

So given you allege you are neither a JW nor a Mormon, I know both well.

When I was married to a JW, a marriage that ended in 1991, though to me they are a cult, the cult did not teach members of said cult (JW) not teaching parents to murder their children. LDS never taught it.

Then why does the mother lie to the police multiple times about where they are?

Why hasn't the mother filed a missing person report?

Why would she be in Hawaii with her new husband if her kids are missing in Idaho or Arizona?

The kids have been missing since September of 2019. Five months.

That would be truly deserving of a Presidential Medal of Freedom.

But then why did the parents lie about their location twice?

Which of the 3 states would do this?

is all that considered evidence?

The mother was handed a court order by the police to produce the children, or some evidence that the kids were alive and safe somewhere.

She did not produce a thing. Nothing.

Have you read anything at all about this case? Anything? Because it appears you haven't.

The lack of dead bodies suggests otherwise

No its only a matter for the state if the parents regard them as missing. The parents never filed a report. The grandparents did. The grandparents are not guardians. As for what the parents "told" the police, we have no idea. The case I admit looks hinky. That said the case is not over with and until charges are preferred, there is nothing. You will note that NO charges have been filed. You will also note the parents are free to travel where they may including out of country.

Same question for you too then, please.

"for any individual whose child/children were unable to be found and they refused to tell them where they were...no welfare check, no investigation?"

You refuse to believe facts, therefore, there's no use talking to you about it. Bye.

1) I already said my guess is she doesn't know where they are.

2) She doesn't need to.

3) because that is where her husband is.

4) so if they were only missing one month or 1 week or 1 day that would change things how?

Post 71 since Josie's questions were similar.
