I absolutely abhor what the GOP have become, in their abetting Trump. But, many of the Dems are half-baked! I feel like I can relate to the Dems better, because we share more values in how to approach public governance. And besides often being overly idealistic and unrealistic, I do believe most try to put country and their fellow citizens first. Dems always seem generous in spirit, which definitely cannot be said of many current Republicans.

But damn, what I would do to have some moderate sensible party I could be a member of! One that doesn't believe in taking away our heathcare or some refugee's kids, but that doesn't believe in politically correct safe-places and forcing me to buy into other's sexual identity crisis', either.

I swear there's times I wish we had a parliamentarian system of governance.

But you know, I saw Bernie for a few minutes today, and I hadn't realized he seems to be really coming at Trump a lot harder than I imagined he would. He didn't hold back, calling Trump a racist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, a sexist, and a religious bigot!

Ordinarily, I would condemn an attack like that, dismissing the attacking candidate. But coming from Bernie, with his many decades of seemingly principled behaviour, it actually struck me as perhaps noble and appropriate. He appeared to use the words with steadfast conviction.

It's going to get interesting, and I think I may need to give Bernie another look. If only I felt he could prevail against Trump. Maybe he could enlist Amy Klobuchar, to bring along those critical Midwest states? But then Bernie struggled with the African-American vote, so perhaps Kamala Harris would work? I'd vote for ether pair, to be honest.

Has anyone still found the answer as to why this liar has access to "personal files etc" when they were all confiscated by the Feds?

Well this does raise a couple of questions. First, where did he happen to find all this?

I have, at last count, fifty-three hard drives, most of which are currently stored on shelves, but some of them are still packed carefully away in boxes in the garage. The ones on the shelves get regularly cycled and run every so often, and stuff gets backed up. Indeed, a lot of the drives are backups and backups of backups.
The ones in the boxes are mostly either enterprise grade units or they're super ancient and small capacity. But the older small units have been backed up quite often.
That said, you never know what you might run across.

I've really only lost one hard drive in nearly twenty years, and that failure is a circuit board in the drive, so it's easily recoverable. My point is, it could just as easily been a coincidence OR a calculated move. I think it's a 50-50 tossup.
