It depends where they are.
I've been down to Mexico...I know that MX City is just as full of opportunities as Los Angeles or any other city in North America. I understand.
But you and I both know that there are vast swaths of your country (and mine) where there's just nothing but crap.
Besides, we're not even talking about Mexican people coming to the USA...those numbers have been in the minus column for a while now. The people coming up here are from Central America, isn't that correct?
And Mexico doesn't want them, isn't that also correct?
And it was OUR training all those mercenary armies that started those Central American countries on the path toward cartel violence, because after Reagan left office, no one was paying the mercs anymore.

We both know who started paying them...and why.

The car is a 1963 Plymouth and it is not mine. The 1964 front end was very different and much more conventional than the '63. A different '63 was my first car back in 1982 which I still have in my back yard. She will be redone to perfection this year coming up.

My best friend as a teen inherited his 63 Fury, it was dark blue.
He dropped a 413 Max Wedge dual 4 bbl in it and became the terror of the streets with it for a couple of years.

My car still has her original big block 361 untouched and the transmission as well. The trans is leaking but functions perfectly.

I am not going to rebuild things, just make them look nice. Her drivetrain is original and will stay that way until it can't.

My buddies were huge motorheads, and their parents were not, so the original 361 was in terrible shape, so an engine transplant was a foregone conclusion, and that 413 Max Wedge just happened to be available at the right place and right time.
And, it came with a B&M modded A727 TorqueFlite race trans to boot. How could they possibly resist?

Your old A727 will probably outlive both of us, those old TorqueFlites are indestructible.

I am a purist. Unless the car is completely worthless, or is a 90's model car, I keep it completely stock.

I totally get that, too.
In any case it wouldn't be too much of a sin because the Fury was also available as the Sport Fury and came with the 413 Max Wedge in very very limited numbers. It would not be "numbers matched" however, you're correct.

Here's a 63 Sport Fury with the 426 Max Wedge.
