It turns out one of #metoo's biggest voices turns out to be a real slut. I wondered when the #metoo thing would implode.

He said she cornered him alone after the annual Assembly softball game in Sacramento as he attempted to clean up the dugout. Fierro, who said Garcia appeared inebriated, said she began stroking his back, then squeezed his buttocks and attempted to touch his crotch before he extricated himself and quickly left.

Fierro is not the only one claiming improper advances by Garcia. A prominent Sacramento lobbyist says she also accosted him in May 2017, when she cornered him, made a graphic sexual proposal, and tried to grab his crotch at a political fundraiser. He spoke to POLITICO on the condition of anonymity out of fear of reprisals.

"She came back and was whispering real close and I could smell the booze and see she was pretty far gone,’’ he said. “She looked at me for a second and said, “I’ve set a goal for myself to [dirty expletive deleted by me] you.”

The whole thing started to implode soon after it launched, and now, some very important women are trying to explain to the #MeToo groupies that what they're doing is only harming themselves.

But understand that we are dealing with true groupies here -- like the the groupies that would follow rock bands and swoon at their feet -- the MeToo'ers are pretty much brainless wagon-riders.

They are not true feminists -- not like the Suffragettes who only wanted equality in working, voting, etc., the MeToo'ers are whiny little babies who make all women look helpless.

The movement has been warned by women such as Arianna Huffington, Catherine Denueve, Margaret Atwood, and many others, but the brainless morons haven't wised up yet.

Some important women, like Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, have been trying to counter the damage to women caused by the brainless MeToo movement. Sandberg has launched the #MentorHer movement, because men in business have reacted predictably to the #MeToo movement by avoiding women in the workplace.

This is just one of the problems caused by the MeToo movement that have hurt women:

With a disproportionate number of men in positions of power, the mentorship of women by men is critical to create parity in the workplace. But the flood of sexual harassment allegations and subsequent career implosions of high-powered men including Harvey Weinstein and Steve Wynn has resulted in a backlash. A recent survey by LeanIn.Org and SurveyMonkey showed almost half of male managers are now uncomfortable participating in common work activities with women, including working alone and mentoring.

Its findings are devastating: Almost 30% of male managers say they are not comfortable working alone with a woman — more than twice as many as before, according to the same study. The number of male managers who are uncomfortable mentoring women has more than tripled, from 5% to 16%. The research, which was commissioned after anecdotal evidence suggested such a reaction, means that one in six male managers may now hesitate to mentor a woman.

Yeah, how dare women complain about being sexually assaulted and harassed. They should stop being whiny little babies.

Of course, if men stopped sexually harassing and assaulting women, this wouldn't be an issue.

There's a reason the MeToo movement is starting to backfire -- more than just one reason, actually -- but as long as the world is filled with brainless bandwagon-riders we'll continue to see this type of silliness and self-defeating behavior.

Not only does the MeToo movement lessen the importance of real sexual assault, it weakens and marginalizes women.

If you're okay with that -- fine.

You are right, we should be able to speak up without fear, just as rape victims should always be taken serious. However, when women make false or questionable accusations, or come out at the most convenient time, they don't do victims any favors.

So all the guys that have been accused are a bunch of sluts too?

Instead of the typical blame the victim now that the victim is male the abuser is a slut. Go figure.

Keep wondering, bud, nothing has imploded... If you actually gave some thought, and cared about being something other than, well, an apdst, you'd see that this opens the conversation up for men who have had to deal with sexual harassment coming from women, but could do nothing about it due to gender roles as rigid as has kept women suffering through the same, make it a true #MeToo that doesn't exclude the experience of men....something you MRA types have been whining about every time a "women only" movement arises.

Instead you confirm the stereotype and the reason behind the movement, by calling her a slut, and using one person to invalidate a movement, making it all that much easier for women to ignore this whole episode. Good work, champ. You're a real hero.

Why do you feel marginalized and weakened by the #MeToo movement?

I'm a woman, and it's neither marginalized nor weakened me. It sounds like you had some problems long before it started that worsened for you since other women were getting propositioned and harassed and assaulted by powerful and famous men.

Just because an issue is over your head, doesn't mean others don't understand what's happening. As I mentioned before, a number of very important women are acting now to try and reduce the blow back from this latest fiasco that reduces the importance placed on real sexual assault and makes women out to be incredible weaklings.

Your try at an insult was juvenile -- like something a middle-schooler would come up with. You're proving my point as to the type of female that supports MeToo.

I asked you why you feel marginalized and weakened by a movement you aren't even involved in. Why can't you answer the question? You posted it.

Read better. Comprehension another one of your short suits?

I didn't say "I" felt weakened or marginalized -- I said the MeToo movement marginalizes and weakens women. The feeling it gives me is one of disgust that some women are so quick to turn their backs on what early feminists achieved. I've already listed ways in which the movement is marginalizing women and women much stronger than you, agree.

Now, go slip into your burka and tremble in the corner. You've earned it.

You said women were weakened and marginalized by the #MeToo movement. What women were you speaking on behalf of? I don't know a single woman who is weakened ot marginalized because of Rose McGowan or Ashley Judd or any of the others coming out publicly against what Harvey Weinstein did to them. How on Earth would it marginalize me or weaken me?

I don't wear a burka. I'm a white upper middle class American woman with a great job that takes me all over the world. Why are you mentioning burkas?

Just a bit of reality here. The #MeToo "movement" is not exclusive to women.

Sexual harassment or drunken sexual promiscuity? May be the woman just can't hold her liquor.

The movement isn't backfiring. It's gaining momentum. Trump's official secretary is its latest high profile casualty. The danger in a movement like this are exaggerated or completely false accusations, some of which are going to occur. But the movement will run its course and when it is over we might have a society that doesn't so easily produce men like the one in the Access Hollywood tape.

LMAO the MeToo movement hasn't "backfired" imploded one bit. A moment can't be backfired or imploded by a individual or individuals any more than A conservative/liberal or even small group of them can imploded the entire group.

The ONLY thing that can happen is individuates will be exposed whether they are for/against, inside/outside the movement and some will try to attack it and thier feelings wont matter. Its already a success. Is it all sunshine and rainbows? of course not, nothing is, people will try to abuse things from both sides but overall its greatly positive and in the end things will be better. There is always backlash etc, overall its pretty meaningless and fixable.

Because you're adopting the attitude of a wilting-flower female who's afraid of men looking in her direction. A burka would offer you plenty of ways to hide away and not face the world.

I answered your previous question. If you don't like the answer, that's your problem.

If you don't think it's backfiring, you haven't been keeping up with the news.

shhhhhhh dont interject facts in a discussion where people are ignoring them, making things up and being totally biased.

He's a first class mysogynist. What did you expect?

Exposing your own misogyny?

I'm not adopting anything. I'm saying for the record that I have neither been marginalized nor weakened by the people in the #MeToo movement.

Now again, which women were you speaking on behalf of?

I don't wear a burka. I'm not sure what your burka obsession is all about. I don't even have to wear one when I'm in the Middle East on business. Even as a tall blonde American woman they don't make me wear one.

Now, please stop going off topic about burkas and tell me which women you were speaking on behalf of if it isn't you. You're certainly not speaking for any women I know. Maybe some of the other female posters on here now feel weak and marginalized. Let's see who they are - I'm sure you can convince them to share their concerns with us.
