A friend of mine's daughter went into anaphylactic shock immediately after a vaccination ( the one for women )
and she started ahving seizures, which, a year later, continue.
Yes, the odds of being harmed by a vaccine are slim, but to shame a person from not getting a vaccine isn't fair, either.
There are THOUSANDS of published examples of this type of thing, on YouTube, and elsewhere.
THe vaccine court has awarded 3.5 ( or so ) billion dollars to vaccine injured children.
There is a whole legal industry, vaccine lawyers, on this subject. It begs the question -- why do vaccine lawyers exist when proving a vaccine caused an injury is not an easy thing to do.
Yes, they are a small minority, but it proves one thing, incontrovertibly, there is a risk. Even if small, you can't shame someone for not wanting to take a risk ( in my view )
In fact, history is replete with outbreaks in highly vaccinated populations.
If there were an epidemic in my area, I would go to the doctor and have a blood test to see if I'm still immune, and if I was not, I would get the vax, so don't accuse me of being anti-vax, but I don't go around shaming others for there health choices.
Seat belts sometimes cause injuries but I abso-****ing-lutely will shame you for not allowing your children to wear them.
