Mark Zuckerberg Lied to Congress

Wow, my post went viral. lol

Sad, and not one independent critical thought among you....baaaa...

Calm your nips, boyz. LOL

It's true...FB is the reason Trump won...

"I understood early that Facebook was how Donald Trump was going to win. Twitter is how he talked to the people. Facebook was going to be how he won." - Brad Parscale

The campaign poured money into Facebook, sending thousands of versions of tweaked ads to maximize response. Then it won the presidency by a margin narrow enough that Parscale (and Facebook) can justifiably take credit.” - — Philip Bump, The Washington Post

No, Hillary is the Reason Trump won. Or, to put it even more accurately, the DNC is the reason Trump won. Had Trump ran against Sanders, Sanders would be president right now.

I have to agree, they wont fare any better.
A lot of people are interested in making their internet usage private, Both parties are beholden to the big money behind user data and they are just doing a dog a pony show to show the voters they talked to a business leader about CA and privacy concerns. In the end nothing comes of it.

Privacy agreements are meaningless.

Look at google. so called privacy agreement but sure thing if i do a good search for something i see a bunch of adds for
the item i looked up.

I just ordered a pair of steel series arctis 7 headsets. now i have banner ads for them.
I was looking at a new headset call mobius. they are a planar magnet headset,
but way way more than i was willing to spend even though they were really really nice looking.

I don't think he would have been.
I think sanders would have made a better run of it than hillary.

i do think the electorial vote would have been closer but i think
the results would have been the same.

honestly the only person that could have beat trump was biden and he didn't run.

I posted before, but it's estimated that roughly 12% of Trumps voters were pissed off Sanders supporters.

The reason it "went viral" was because it was so blatantly dishonest/downright stupid it was easy for multiple people to reject. Here's a hint for future debating. Don't use opinion pieces by emotional people for facts, it will often backfire. Trump won because he had more people vote for him than Clinton did in specific areas which enabled his victory through a known system that has been in place for hundreds of years. Don't like it? Vote for someone better than a multi decade failure such as Clinton in your primaries.

Look, use agreements are available for every app you download. Do you read them?

I know they are, that is the issue being investigated, whether FB violated their user agreements and privacy shield laws.

I checked that I was logged out of Facebook. I checked all my settings. (By the way, the least I may share my email address and phone number with is my "friends"... there is not option to share my email address with only my family.) I cleared all my cookies. I checked that both the facebook cookies were cleared. I came here and logged in. Pow! Facebook cookies are back. I cleared them. So far they aren't back. But Zuck said that his cookies would not latch on like ticks when I am logged out of fb.
I've been logged out of FB for over a year, no cookies follow me. However, I have all new computers.

You're projecting.

The evidence shows that Trump won because of Facebook.
