Man arrested for driving through protest crowd

I just think there are times when one needs to vote for the country and not for someone's boutique candidate.

I am voting for the Republic. I think Jorgensen is the best candidate out of the lot for the Republic.

But that Republic might not exist in four years if Dirtbag get's another chance to unleash his wrecking crew on it. I just noticed a Monmouth poll in GA that shows Jorgensen possibly getting 2-3% of the vote there and the difference between Biden and Trump is also 2-3%. Stein's votes in MI and WI could very well have thrown those states to Trump in 2016. This is one of those times when the "perfect" shouldn't be the enemy the "good."

I asked you a direct question. Are you link hiding? Does your candidate support defunding police. If you fail to answer again I will assume you know the answer but for some strange reason can post it.

I gave you a link to all her positions, are you not able to find her stance on policing and criminal justice?

Libertarian Presidential Nominee Jo Jorgensen on the Issues | Merion West

On the proposal of defunding the police by Minneapolis City Council: “We, as Libertarians, believe we need the police, courts and the military, and for the government to run and fund those. The police issue here now is a local issue, and we will let them work it out. If I was a president now, I would say no, we not not need to do something.”

It's mostly a State thing. Overall, there would be a push for reducing laws and prison populations, for increasing accountability, etc.

The Republic might not exists in 4 years if Biden gets in, not as a free Republic anyway.

The problem the Republocrats have is that they always have the ****tiest candidates. They've convinced enough people that they have to vote for them to stay in power, but it ends up in the same place regardless. Your real big argument isn't that we're going to be better off in the end, it's that your side will take longer to get to that end. That's it.

I don't like Biden, I don't like Trump. I don't like the excessive growth of government against the rights and liberties of the People.

Compared to today? No, it isn't a myth.

It is objectively a myth. The idea that the Wild West was this lawless hellscape full of crime and violence has no relationship with reality.

I just don't understand how the idea that "they're all the same" can still be a reasonable position with the horrendous example of Trump staring us right in the face.

Biden is eating half a bowl of ****, Trump is eating a full bowl of ****. Some people may say "Hey, eating half a bowl of **** is better than eating a full bowl of ****", which may be true. I say the problem is that you have to eat **** no matter what.

On June 10 Jorgenson tweeted "It's time to #defundPolice and let communities take care of their own." Do you still support her or do you need to change your stance on defunding police? You say you do not support it yet are voting for the candidate who is actually actively tweeting that she wants to defund it You cant claim you are against defunding police when you are actually voting for someone who does. So you sorta look the other way...right?

It's a state issue, it should be up to the States and the communities to take care of it. Jorgensen is talking about federal funding in terms of "defunding", which on a libertarian stance federal funding for almost everything will be slashed. This is what a smaller federal government would look like. States and local government will have to manage their own stuff.

There's idealism and then there's wishful thinking.

That was tried for the first two years of this Republic and it was immediately seen as a colossal failure. Thus were Articles of Confederation consigned to the trash heap of history and replaced by the Constitution.

You people have never admitted there were any and we've known that's not true. Where there's one there will be more......like cockroaches who also scatter when the light goes on.

And you foune ONE!...lol

I'm not necessarily in favor of eliminating the police. But I'm not necessarily not in favor of it either. I ask, that if the second amendment genuinely enables us to defend ourselves effectively, what need have we of the police? Ought we not to police ourselves?
The police are there to dispassionately investigate crime, determine likely suspects, and present evidence to prosecutors and magistrates to obtain warrants, and for trial. Without police, who does that without an agenda? What is the recourse left to a person who has been victimized other than to take justice for themselves? The second amendment is great so far as it goes, but it only goes so far. It secures your right to keep and bear the tools of personal defense, but if you are unable or unwilling to use them, it isn't meant to obtain justice for you after the crime is committed.

So, who is it burning down Portland, Seattle, Chicago?

Nobody is "burning down" anything. Why does the Cult hyperventilate on everything? Is it a collective "nervous condition" or just the need to lie?
