I have learned that Trump has appealed to working class voters whom liberals have disparaged as ignorant Archie Bunker types - that’s on them - but one who has been very lucky in getting elected. He is no friend of the worker, but gets many of their votes as a triumph of style over substance. His is the same appeal as was George Wallace’s, or Huey Long’s, tho I imagine the latter demagogue did more for the working class.

This is a legitimate problem with both parties, I agree. Executive Orders have become a shortcut to an ineffective Congress and that needs to change. As for Trump's second administration, he's managed to already surpass the number of executive orders Biden did his entire 4 years.
