After killing off one of the worlds worst terrorist, the powers that be in Iran went nuts with threats against the president and the US. So they sent a bunch of rockets into the sand around a couple of our airbases in Iraq. Doing that, they saved face, but did little harm to us. After doing so that said see----- we can attack you at any time we want, but in a couple of words that said that is the end of it.

Bottom line President Trump won again.

Those rockets didn’t hit the sand. Al Assad was heavily damaged and Trump has now walked back his threats of total war if Iran retaliated. You have a bizarre definition of winning.

I don’t know if Iran’s revenge is done or not, but I do know that only a fool would assume that it is.

total win to me. we have a chance to let them know we mean business if thehy screw with us, got rid of a terrorist and stayed out of a major conflict.


thats a lot of win if we can get it to work that way.

we do not need the distraction of a conflict in the ME , when we have much more important things to worry about right now.

I decided to go use you tube to see how the media handled it when Osama Bin Laden was killed. They truly protected Obama and acted like he crapped turds of gold.

For Trump he got attacked when the man he killed was worse than Bin Laden was. Media got to pull crap like this for an odd reason.

All we let them know is that American sabre rattling ends when Iran attacks us directly rather than through a proxy.

How many times does the facts have to be explained to idiot right wingers before they stop repeating the same stupid ****? Solemani was a high ranking official in a sovereign nation with a powerful military and powerful allies.

This could be what the Iranian government is willing to take credit for. They can wage war through many proxies in the area.

Should Trump do what Abe Lincoln did over the damage to a fort? Invade Iran I mean? I recall all the excuses over Sumter, hit a fort and invade VA.

what we let them know is we can do what we want when we need to. an air strike killing their top general is not sabre rattling. meanwhile they, essentially, missed.

  • Iran is now full speed on developing their nuke program. (It used to comply with with no-nuke-development agreement according to international organization monitoring it)
  • Iranian pro-reform movements have been dealt a significant blow
  • A lot more Iranians and Iraqies now hate us, which aids ISIL recruitment
  • US anti-ISIL operations are on halt now
  • US troops are about to be kicked out of Iraq

You would love for Trump to like the appeaser Obama wouldn't you? You know he has Iran running away with their tails between their legs and you are upset he won. LOL

They destroyed a number of hangars and heavily damaged several other buildings and at least one taxiway in a direct attack on a US military base. We know that because a private corporation snapped a satellite photo. We don’t know the full extent of damage to structures and equipment because the Trump Administration doesn’t want to talk about it since Iran essentially called Trump out on his threat of total war and the President responded with a rambling speech walking back those threats. Iran can attack us directly and the US won’t do jack about it.
 
Iran's real revenge will come in form of car bombs and trucks running down pedestrians on sidewalks. Low tech I know but it's what they're comfortable with.
