LOL Beto!

So is it fear anytime we noises out of you and others on the left about a candidate on the right. Interesting.

Sometimes it might be.
Right now it's fear from the right about our guys.
What was your point?

I'm certain you approved of the "Shrub" label. You just don't like the political right mirroring your tactics. So SpongeBob O'Rourke it is.

O'Dork. Much simpler.

You cannot even avoid it when it is posted out to you. For shame, for shame.

You know what? That SpongeBob thing might backfire on you.
Just a hunch.
I could totally see the Beto campaign making the decision to capitalize on it and make it fun.
I hope he does, it will be entertaining to see the Right doing this:

Ah so when it comes from the right it is always fear but when it come from the left it only sometimes might be fear.

And my point was simply to point out a partisan hack. Which you just confirmed. Thank you.

You should know that I don't care. Anything that appears on far left sites - no matter how inane - becomes one of Beto's talking points. If the guy has ever had an original political idea, no one has heard it.

Hello man from the 1950s, it is the responsibility of both parents to raise the children. Perhaps in different seasons, one person makes more of an income amd the other assists more, but there is no universal manual from god (sorry Bible) that mandates that women are alone reaponsible for child rearing.

This is also old news and Beto still beats Trump in the polls right now.

While I don't agree with you on much of anything, you're right here. Men need to get over this concept as being static but acknowledge that it's dynamic to whatever family system is in place. If bother parents work full time then it's 50/50. If one works, be they the husband or wife, then the other should be doing most of the house work.

With that said, the criticism levied at Beto is off. He never said that it was her job because she's a women or any other such thing. He only said that in the context that his running for Senate took a lot of his time and pulled him away from his family a lot, leaving a greater burden on his wife. He should only be criticized if he did all that over her objections. If she was good with it and supportive, then no harm no foul, which is what we should assume in lieu of any contradictory information.

It was you who gave Beto the nickname keeping to the proud right wing tradition of Trump politics.

You don't know me well, then. I was giving names to politicians and talking heads decades ago. That would be way before our first orange president.

Fine. Let us say that we disagree about O'Rourke.

Quit virtue signaling for yourself, it's not working.

Sure...the idiot left has gone crazy when it comes to gender roles and the fear of hurting peoples feelings....but its worse in England were they are giving men cervical exams. Granted...a lot of their men are ******s...but still...they are so invested in making sure no one gets their feelings hurt that actual real women are being denied medical procedures.

Heh. You go with that then. Don't complain when Beto has his ass handed to him.

If Don, you and so many other conservatives are so hot to see the Dems nominate O'Rourke, why keep pointing out all his terrible flaws or starting threads thrashing him and coming up with all the reasons that would make him an unelectable Dem nominee?

Wouldn't it make more sense to ignore him or point out why he would make a good nominee giving the Dems their best shot? Wouldn't highlighting all his many, many horrible flaws tend to convince Dems not to pick him? Or is every Repub who trashes him actually using reverse psychology?

Do people who chant, "Built the wall!", over and over again, even know what that is?...

Jesus, the guy hasn't even made it to a debate yet and hes already insulted his wife, women and then apologized for it and while he's apologizing for it he also apologizes for being white. Who is supporting these weak ass beta males? It's apology tour part two, coming to a podium near you.

Oh, yeah. And when I call a person pusilanimous, It's out of fear, too.

Greetings, humbolt. :2wave:

Good for you! It takes nerves of steel, not to mention getting the sneer on your face down pat while you're saying it, to make it effective!

Who is nominated by the democrats has nothing to do with Trump in my view. After the last election, I'd prefer they nominate a truly good and viable candidate, and not some conflicted yuppie teenager.

My bad, thought you supported Don...

Well, I do, but only comparatively - based on the current alternatives. I'm hardly a "Trumpkin". I see, and freely admit his flaws. I don't view those of national political prominence as any better than anyone else. We constantly hope they are, only to discover otherwise.
