Letter from White House counsel Pat Cipollone to House leaders

Oh there is plenty, it's just that trump keeps committing new crimes at a pace that is unprecedented...

LOL. Well, according to you then, the best way to stay in office is to continually commit more crimes for eight years. In other words, you got nuttin.

So, you are saying that the "old crimes" have been determined to not be crimes at all.

I believe that is what YOU said.

I am more than convinced there were several crimes in the Russia fiasco and he should have been impeached for those as well as indicted in Court.

Any self-respecting lawyer would be embarrassed for having written that. It's not a legal argument. It's a campaign release.

The letter has footnotes to legal decisions for everything. Read the link.

Well, the House best hurry up and vote to send it to the Senate. What are they waiting for?

You got suckered into that one too eh? No surprise you are parroting that one too.

The votes are there. What's the hurry? Just because Trump says so?

I believe the process is in its early stages and much evidence has to be yet gathered through investigations. Is that not what you advocate?

Early stages? The Democrats started talking impeachment three days after Trump was sworn in. :lamo

You got suckered into that one too eh? No surprise you are parroting that one too.

The votes are there. What's the hurry? Just because Trump says so?

When Trump says "Jump", his fan base says "How high, Master?".

The thing is Pelosi isn't going to be told when to vote or anything by Trump. The woman knows what's she's doing and is a lot smarter than Trump. This is clearing a ploy by the Whitehouse to get the upper hand by controlling the process.

I'd be scared ****less if I was Trump. Pelosi has been in politics since Kennedy and is as smart, cunning, and shrewd as they get. She owned him I the last shutdown. Made an utter fool of him.

LOL. You guys have investigated Trump for three years now and apparently you haven't found enough to impeach him for. So, more investigations.

Well... no.

The whole point is that they HAVE found enough to impeach him and need to flesh out the details.

How stupid are you all going to feel when the House doesn't hold an impeachment vote?

How stupid do you feel posting lies and idiocy on here about a man who wouldn't spit on you if you were on fire, who doesn't know you're alive, and who commits indignities right in front of your nose, and thinks you're stupid for continuing to support him?

I know, those are probably too many multi-syllabic words for you, counselor.

How stupid are you all going to feel when the House doesn't hold an impeachment vote?

The votes are already there. How stupid will you be when the votes come in and they are well over what is needed? I think I need to save your post as a byline in the future? Do you mind?

Take a memo, secretary.

The Clinton investigations started in 1994 after Paula Jones suit. He was impeached in 1998. A whole election went by while Republicans investigated. 3 years is nothing.

Your argument is dismissed.

Sent from the Matrioshka in the WH Christmas tree.

Trump is scared ****less, and so is his drooling fan base. As they all should be.

If nothing else, he will lose next year because decent, Constitution-respecting Americans reject corruption and obstruction of justice.

"In a letter to House leaders, White House counsel Pat Cipollone wrote that House Democrats’ recent actions violate “the Constitution, the rule of law, and every past precedent.” He criticized the impeachment inquiry as attempt to overturn the 2016 presidential election results and to influence the upcoming 2020 campaign. It's become apparent Bubba, the obsessed on the left have had the concept of Constitutional Rights, specifically, Due Process, drilled out of them.

What are they waiting for?

Why in the hell would they vote if the investigation is still going on and more evidence has to be collected?

You're really not that dumb are you?

Trump wants a vote not before the evidence is not all in. Don't you get that?

A) Impeachment is literally a matter described in the Constitution. It can't be unconstitutional to use it.
B) If impeachment succeeds, Mike Pence would be president, not Hillary Clinton -- which would be overturning the 2016 election.
C) It is alleged that Mr. Trump committed impeachable offenses. It is therefore the duty to have an impeachment inquiry.
D) The House of Representatives actions are the equivalent of a grand jury indictment. Grand juries do not allow the accused to defend themselves before indicted. They get that opportunity at trial.
E) The target of an investigation doesn't get to decide the rules of the proceedings.

All of Trump's lawyer's arguments have no merit. That's what happens when they grasp for straws because it's all they have.

Your linke doesn't support your contention that the dems have been trying to impeach Trump 3 days after he came into office. I merely says that many contend he has committed impeachable actions for some time now since being in office.

If what you say is true Pelosi would have pulled the trigger long ago. Didn't happen until recently.

Go make your fairy tales somewhere else. No one is buying them.

The Constitution says, "bribery, treason, high crimes and misdemeanors", too. Congress can't impeach a president for any reason they dream up.

I do think when they hear that the House decides the rules for impeachment they kinda sorta read too much into what that means.
