Unfortunately for us, it wasn't our President, but the Russian President that is enjoying one of his best "Anti-American" weeks ever.

After sitting back and watching the Saudi's "play Trump like a very "cheap fiddle" - catering to his widely known vanity - the crème de la crème was Putin sitting back watching Trump berate our true allies (and his number one European enemy in NATO) with his ridiculous comments. The fallout of which is already being felt by the comments by Macron of France and Merkel of Germany.

It is truly a very sad day when our allies feel that they can no longer count on the U.S.A............:(

Trump is well on his way to becoming the best "Operative" that the Russians have ever had.

Post Great Recession and our massive super expensive bungling in the ME and 100 other reasons they would be fools to "Count on the USA".

Failing Super Powers massively in debt with a failed political systems are inherently untrustworthy.

But Boy Howdy did Trump do good this week!

Oh look, another dishonest thread title. How very consistent of you.

Gee. You sort of missed all but the latest flashpoint of developments in Europe id est Germany. The story is much more interesting.

But you are right. Putin is being well rewarded for the effort he put into operationalizing the Gerasimov Doctrine with his nonlinear war. A pity we didn't do much about it all these years.

Dishonesty is more offensive than that in my books.

Trumpbots like yourself always see roses through glasses of **** like you wear from trump.

With as little as you pay attention listening more and talking less is your best bet.

Yes I guess now all we have to rely on to "do something about it" is the FBI investigation of Trump and Putin collusion. Let's hope they do their job and get our Manchurian candidate out of office.

I clicked on this thread thinking, "Wow, somebody's trying to be even-handed."

My mistake.

Vetplus 40, you should try to get a job on cnn or msnbc since your slanted approach of news is so similar. I also clicked on thinking you had truth to tell.....my bad

Sold some weapons, reassured the Israeli's that we thought Iran still sucked, visited the pope, hassled some deadbeat NATO pretenders and left the Paris econuts to fend for themselves. No real winning (yet again) but less damage than he will get blamed for by the MSM. ;)

Trump in Saudi Arabia: "We aren't going to do it for you, you need to do fight Muslim radical extremists, the jihadis, as well, and we'll be your ally in that fight, and we'll not dictate to do what you need to do, but rather do what works."

So many voices here have stated their position as 'the US can't be the world's policeman'. A reasonable position, provided that you make allies wherever you go, and build consensus with those allies before engaging and supporting any particular larger scale engagement or effort against a common foe. Trump's visit and address to the Muslim summit in Riyadh was exactly that. Why are so many still complaining?

Oh, I forgot. It's because it's Trump who is echoing your previously stated position, isn't it? That makes it bad. That makes it worth condemning.

So what did Trump say in Belgium?

NATO members need to honor the commitments they made in the treaty that they signed of their own free will, namely, spending 2% of GDP on their military.

Again, the US shouldn't be the world's policeman, nor should the US taxpayer shoulder that burden. Again, this should have met with a positive note from many who have posted that they agree with this position.

But no. But why? Who's positions and opinions are you then echoing?

Consider that carefully.

Better then a head in trumps netherregines like trumpbots do.

You think? Occam's Razor might indicate another game plan.

You were not interested in the truth. You wanted a Trump "rah-rah" post and got bummed when you didn't read it. As far as political commentary goes, maybe you should try for a spot on the Alex Jones show as well.

The fact is that Trump looked very "Un-Presidential" on his first overseas trip and Putin is likely laughing his ass off because of it.

Only dishonest through the warped leans of a worshipping "Trumpbot". Excuse me if I don't feel any remorse for stating the truth and not jading it in order to make an incompetent president look good. You guys really need a better "idol" to worship. Preferably, one that isn't a self professed sexual predator.

In what way was Putin boosted by this trip? And no, some variation of 'because I hate Trump' is not an answer.

Preach the same sermon to the ones who defend Trump's every lie. Then we can chat about being "even handed".

I think you should look at the topic of most of the 225 threads you've created since joining DP. ;)

So, the expectation these days is just to do like another poster and pretend that Trump doesn't "lie", he just "jokes" a lot. Sorry, that isn't the way I roll.

When Trump stops lying, posting ridiculous tweets and stops doing what he openly criticized others for doing, then I will re-evaluate him. That said, my guess is the biggest "whiners" over the Trump posts were likely the biggest anti-Obama posters as well.

Now, do you really think that Trump had the BIGGEST inaugural crowd ever? If so, I have a big red bridge for sale.

Must be a rhetorical question.

No, it wasn't rhetorical at all. How was Putin boosted by this trip? Try to answer that yourself rather than parrot some numbskull on MSNBC.

Given the vast number of threads you've started - all similarly themed - I believe the vast majority at DP already knows how you roll.

I know how you roll. And DP needs multiple "two-minute hate" anti-Trump threads each and every day, particularly ones of great import such as how many scoops of ice cream he prefers. It's an important job, and somebody needs to do it, just as important as calling every person who tries to keep a reasonable perspective needs to be branded as a "Trumpbot."
