Leggings, And their Poor Poor Victims - BOYS

Few women look good in legging. Very few.

As I guy, I support this nut case catholic mom. Not because they make women too attractive but because most times them make women look like crap.

My 86 year old aunt wears support stockings under leggings, at times reversed, with sandals. She is a fashion abomination, yet she's having fun, pulls it off, and stays alive and well.

As her 14 year old great, great granddaughter says, "She is living art."

Worse, my uncle, 89, her husband wears multi colored printed Guayabera shirts, bermuda shorts even louder, support hose, and sandals, with straw fedoras and sunglasses that are way too big. Better than his smelly gnarly feet. An assault on the eyes, but at his age, he also pulls it off with aplomb.

Look. Shorts are not useless. They do fill a purpose and are necessary to have in your wardrobe. But, putting on shorts simply "because it is warm" is not an excuse justifying looking like a bum in public. And then, one could also ask why anyone would want to go downtown or to a mall if the weather is awesome - Just go to the beach or a park and wear your shorts without any fear of looking like white trash. :)

It is all about context.

If you want to show off your legs or tan your legs, you obviously have issues with your manliness and if you are female and wish to do this, you should put on a dress or a skirt.

Esh, I tend to just wear short shorts, if I'm feeling like it's a good day to show my legs off (or if it's really hot outside). But on special occasions, I'll wear a skirt. But that's only occasionally. I tend to just wear jeans most of the time, though.

BTW, I never wear socks and sandals. I love annoying family and friends with my stinky gnarly feet. I can empty a busy bar by just walking in on a 90+ degree humid sticky NYC summer day. Only my dog loves me on those days. Wacky Dog.

My aunt and uncle are sight together, or apart. They been known to temporarily blind some people. :)

Not sure what you mean as it is normal and natural for people to dress in order to advertise their tribe identifications and to make themselves optimally desirable for matting. This gives them the best short at the best genes for their offspring.

It does please folks to look good and be associated with their tribe. That is why we do it.

No. It is just that you are American and therefore do not understand basic fashion etiquettes.

Shorts can be worn at home, at the gym, at barbeques, on boats, beaches and in parks. But, that's about it.
