If the Obama administration or the FBI broke the law, they should be prosecuted. No-one should be above the law. It's that simple.

Every time a Trumpists asks a loaded question like he did, he or she gets answers like that. Then they turn around, pretend nobody said it, accuse the left of being "ok" with illegal acts by people on the left, and start another thread demanding an answer to the same question.

The investigations into Team Trump resulted in more indictments and convictions, against more people, than any other administration ever.

On the same metric, all of the tribalist and deflective counter-investigations announced by Team Trump have resulted in zero and zero, against zero.




So why don't you let us know when someone gets convicted of doing something illegal and we can agree that they should be punished for doing that illegal thing. Then we can talk about why you all cheered as Trump commuted convicted felon stone's sentence as reward for lying to congress to protect him, intimidating witnesses, and the like.

So if you want to be even remotely honest, paps, you can take it as read that if people are actually convicted of crimes, 'the left' in general thinks they should be punished. But, those same people probably aren't going to take it from YOU that crimes were actually committed. They're gonna want a conviction. Y'know, after a white dude with resources pleads guilty or is convicted following trial. And then once that happens...well.. see what I just wrote above.

You don't become immune from investigation when you start a presidential campaign. Now, if you have some evidence that Obama or Biden personally ordered an investigation for political purposes (i.e. against recommendations from career FBI investigators), I would consider that corruption. Of course, Trump basically did do that with the whole Biden/Ukraine/Rudy fiasco, and you people just denied and gaslighted.

We laugh because of the unbelievable hypocrisy conservatives have to be able to mouth off about this conspiracy theory in one breath and then excuse and ignore blatant corruption from Trump in the next.

Most Americans understand that the Trump campaign was literally filled with criminals who were in constant communication with hostile foreign governments in order to gain advantages over Clinton during the 2016 election season. The FBI (among others) was following people like Flynn, Manafort, Papadapolis, Gates, etc...because those people kept showing up on wiretaps of conversations with Russian agents in the U.S.

And, frankly, I think YOU are the one who "has no argument to justify" your position, apdst.

But I'm willing to listen. State your case so we can discuss.

They had plenty of evidence to start an investigation without any influence from politics, and they found plenty of evidence against the Trump campaign during that investigation. Trump was protected by his political power and position, nothing more.

You are also protected by the constitution and the protections that it has against government abuse. In fact the constitution was
specifically designed to prevent what happened from happening.

The key word is "abuse", which did not happen. The Trump campaign was subjected to a legitimate investigation by law enforcement.

Flynn is a different case, but the same facts apply as above. There was ample reason to investigate. If it was all over the news, I'm sure you can give a link proving that Biden forced the investigation, while the professional investigators believed there was not sufficient probably cause. Biden being aware of an investigation doesn't mean ****. "Suggesting" it does not mean ****. The whole point is that our law enforcement agencies must be able to independently choose which cases they pursue based on the facts. As long as they aren't being strongarmed by political superiors in the executive branch, the system is working correctly.

We know because Trump announced it on national television and then sent his personal lawyer to negotiate personal favors with the Ukrainian government. If Biden was retired from politics and living quietly at his home in Delaware, would Trump care at all about Hunter Biden cashing in on his name? Yes, or No?
