Leftists, in you opinion, is throwing firebombs at federal courthouses with people inside legal?

Yup. It's not legal to kill cops in the so-called name of RW ideology. And, of course, destroying fed property is not legal while protesting.

The protesters should move away from fed property. They shouldn't have to. But it would be the thing to do, and carry-on protesting from there. Then, see if the feds follow them to wherever they go. My guess is Trump will make up whatever excuse he can to send feds into that crowd, too. Practicing martial law.

Require protesters to protest in a large vacant field . take the media with them as they chant "black lives matter' I guarantee the destruction to property drops dramatically.

This should NOT affect the legal exercise of rights by otherwise law-abiding and peaceful protesters who are not engaged in the destruction of property or endangerment of human life.

Once members of the group protesting start to break the law and endanger people they need to be disbanded. We have seen over and over that any attempt to isolate and remove individuals only leads to escalation of the violence. It is sad that so many ignorant people have taken our right to protest and have used it to intimidate and take away the rights of others. They are not stopping the hate but spreading the hate. They are doing to other exactly what needs to end. You don't stop child abuse by beating children.

No. It is clearly neither acceptable or legal behaviour.

Yes. It is a violation of the law by the destruction of property, and arguably also a threat to life given that there are people inside.

If there is sufficient evidence on which to build a criminal case against an individual or group that can go to trial, clearly the answer is yes, both as punishment for the damage that has already been done and to prevent them and discourage others from engaging in similar behaviour in the future.

ACtually it does by law. Once people start throwing fire bombs and committing acts of violence it is no longer a peaceful protest.
it is now turned into a riot/civil disturbance and is no longer protected by the constitution.

that is how the law works.

So if you want to have peaceful protests you are allowed to do so, However the people that are in the protest have an obligation to keep bad actors in line.
Otherwise they become subject to violations and penalties that those bad actors commit.

The guy that blew up the Fed Bld in Oklahoma city was triggered by the killing of innocent people in Waco by the Clinton admin. Reno and her rambo rangers handled that situation in a total ignorant fashion.

And that trigger justifies killing 168 people and injuring 680, including loss of limb? Your idea of moral equivalency is warped.

Is this acceptable behavior? Is this a matter for the police? Should the people that do it be arrested?
No. Arrest them, obviously.

Can your brain distinguish between the rioters doing that and peaceful protesters? Does your probably disagreement with the message of the protest incline you to generalize and scape goat the whole thing?

A few mayors have laid out how it goes down and why it's hard to manage. A peaceful and lawful protest forms, then at some point an organized group of malcontents join and start trying to drive the whole thing towards violence. So the problem is how to allow the protest but prevent the malignant joiners from getting a foothold or making it violent. I dont pretend to know how to do that or when.

If you dont make the distinction, you are not a constitutionalist, you are hating on Americans exercising their rights, and you are enjoying nasty racial biases.

Whatever the media is calling someone is a tertiary problem. I'd bet other sources are doing the opposite along heavily biased lines. Fox news calls them all rioters and a mob. They even call all democrats a mob in big a fear mongering campaign.

Nobody has ever said these murders were legal. So what is the point of this stupid post?

Who said throwing firebombs at federal a courthouse with people inside was legal? I'm exemplifying the stupidity of the OP in a mirror post wherein you see the same. That's the point.

And put a 12' fence around them so they don't have the right to freedom of movement and wrap duct tape around their mouths so they can't exercise their right of free speech and tie their hands to their waist so they can't carry signs expressing themselves. I think you're onto something. Solid RW thinking.
