You are not understanding something. One can "legally" practice Jewish orthodox law, seder law, Greek Orthodox law, AND sharia law to the EXTENT that it breaks no other city, state, federal laws. And this happens EVERYWHERE in our country right now. What people are doing is selecting the laws that conflict with state and federal law to demonize a religion.

One more time SHARIA as practiced in the united states is FAMILY law, not legal law. You have all been duped into believing Sharia cannot be managed to fit quietly and legally within a community. You have no problem understanding that orthodox Jewish law from the Torah cannot possibly fit modern Governing laws so why can you not understand that all religions pick and choose from their bible, Koran, or whatever those laws that fit (are legal in) their community? So we select which of them are appropriate for today and leave the rest to the wacko orthodox of every religion.

As I have said, "community" has several meanings. A large family get together can be a community as can a full Mosque of Islamic worshipers, or Jewish temples. Groups are able to practice their "law" in these settings. A Greek orthodox community I am familiar with have no problem going to the leader of the community (or church), talking with the orthodox elders, and allowing them to issue a verdict in family matters.

No one in this thread seems to understand that Shria Law can be practiced here within ones own private community.

I do realize that. The problem is those communities that want Sharia Law that over rules any local, state and federal laws. Effectively creating their own little country that doesn't abide by the laws of the country that let them come here.

Throughout history, there have been many different cultures which have had various systems on conquest, the Spanish and the Conquestors, the Greeks and their Temples, the Romans and their Legions...

The Muslim system of conquest is histories longest lasting system, and probably its most successful.

But understand, we've got two different groups of Conquerors allied together in the actions outlined in the OP of this thread: Cultural Marxists and Radical Islam.

Independently, both are fairly effective.

But the Cultural Marxists lack an ability to be brutally violent and self-sacrificing... they work primarily through Lawyers, Lawsuits, Regulations, Agenda Driven Judges, Elected Officials, Identity Group Politics and Special Preference Pandering.

The Radical Islam group has tactics straight out of the Middle Ages, and work by Suicide Attack by fanatical followers, Riots and Assault, Mass Occupation of Public Spaces, Rape for Political Intimidation... but the lack an ability to use modern legal structures, elected officials, and government programs.

Each of these groups has come to recognize the value of the other, and they've teamed up.

Neither plans to HONOR the Alliance, once the rest-of-us are dead or cowed, they'll destroy each other, or try to, just as soon as we are under their thumb.

Uhm... yes. Hassidic jews have been doing it in monsey, spring valley, NY for years. That community will shield offenders from US law if they believe it does not violate state or federal law. That's but one example.
