Laura Ingraham beats up on high school student because she likes guns, I guess

David Hogg didn't see anyone die. He wasn't even in building 12 during the shooting.

Exactly--Ingraham hid behind 'GOD' during this Holy Week to try to mitigate financial losses. She outed LGBTQ students in College, giving up confidential information. Hogg should sue her for every last penny she has for divulging Hogg's academic record.

It's now on me to find out who advertises on all treasonous Russian Television FOX vomit. I will never go back to any of those who previously advertised with Laura. Hogg is the NRA/GOP's worst nightmare, so I can see why he's getting death threats, along with his family ...

Interesting. I have two in high school, one of whom just turned 18. The other is 16. I refer to both of them as children.

Of course we have a 2nd Amendment. We always will. We had it when Carter, and Clinton, and Obama were all Presidents, too.

The statements from most of them state that their corporate values are not consistent with Ingrahams statements.

I’m really hoping we get a response from Melania...that would be hilarious.

I hope Allstate drops her, I'm getting a new car and will find another insurer if they don't.

Conservatives are all for the free market.....until they aren't.

I have no idea if Ingram is a Christian, I don't follow her. Barely know who she is.

If you read my subsequent posts, you'll see my point was that this is SOP in modern American politics, and both sides do it. Nobody has the moral high ground here. I didn't say I approved; in fact I specifically said I wish it were otherwise but reality is what it is.

But carry on blaming Christians, or Ingram or Trump or whoever, for the harshness of US politics and media if you wish, I've lost all interest in this messed-up conversation.

No. I haven't been holding it in for a while, nor am I hate filled. I am expressing an attitude towards the Christian right that is getting to be more and more common. I have only recently looked back and thought of the things Christians have said during Hurricane Katrina, and came to realize that maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.

The attitude I have seen, is more common than it should be amongst people who claim morality and values are so important. It also stems into a larger problem in current society.

I am not trying to personally offend you when I say this, but you're doing nothing more than playing Captain Obvious in this thread and explaining how the world works, or how politics works. I get it. A lot of people will not mind Ingraham' s comments. She also gets publicity. In some ways, she is savvy in playing the game. My problem is the game.

I don't like where society is headed. I don't like seeing so many conspiracy theories going mainstream, I don't like people finding convenient arguments to negate their own moral values, reality, or facts. I think 10 to 20 years ago somebody doing something like Ingraham would get fired, and that doesn't just go for her alone.

Yes, I am upset, bothered, concerned, uncomfortable, etc., but I am not hate filled. The last thing I want to do is accept this point is society as normal and acceptable.

If I referred to mine as a child when she was that age, she wouldn't be happy about it. To each their own. :shrug:

At that age, I would have been aghast at being called "a child". I'd already been working and earning wages for 2 years, got a license to drive and bought a car!
