By converting the property tax to a land value tax we put less burden on those who utilize land/space and more of a burden on the hoarders/speculators. Many of them will just sell to others at a lower price than usual. No land seizures necessary.

I've got my own land and have no interest in taking yours. You seriously think property tax reform is about envy? How sad and pathetic.
