Kanye West is brutalized by CNN

I see you've figured out how to degrade every single black man who supports Trump in any way. The most telling and racist part is where you call Dr. Ben Carson stupid, one of the foremost brain surgeons in the world.

Ben Carson is a fraud,,,an uncle tom of the worst kind

If it were him or anyone on the left I would choose him. I would rather be governed by a crackhead than someone on the left.

Nah your kind would never support a Black Man......But you'll support a crackhead....Way to think it thru

Yeah, I know. Hard to get my head around that. I figure he is some sort of idiot savant. Some sort of latent early religious brain washing combined with excellent secondary education from a leftist university.

Oh, people calling out Kanye for exposing himself as an idiot, or off his meds, or an idiot off his meds, has nothing to do with him being black, but his being an idiot and proving it on national TV. If they bring race into it, maybe it's because Kanye did. Several times.

Nobody needs to be brutalizing Kanye. His music already does that.

Hard to tell who the bigger idiot was...Kanye and his babbling non sense or trump for inviting this moron

This is what happens to black people when they support Donald J. Trump

He's still a jackass, and he deserved everything that was said about him. Anybody who supports Donald Trump is at best a moron, likely a **** head, and probably a combination of the two. An African American like Kanye of all people should know better. There are even fewer excuses for him to support someone overtly racist against his own racist.

You must be the only person on this planet that believes what you say. Every network and I mean every network had Crooked Hillary as a shoe in. Christ all you Dems still can't get over her loss. Now your so demoralized by Trump's successes, you moved to the MOB mentality that started when Trump was elected. Intimidation and Mob rule has to win you and election.

Fivethirtyeight.com had Clinton with a 70% chance of winning on election night and a 65% chance just a couple of days prior. With many of the states within the margin of poll error. If you want to click on individual state polls, you can see narrowing of Clinton's lead at the run up to the election. If you look at the state by state, only Wisconsin jumps out as the big surprise on election day.... none of the individual polls showed a margin with the error range. The other states showed one or more polls with very thin Clinton leads in the final polling.

That said, 70% is not a sure thing. If the weatherman says there is a 70% chance of rain, and it does not rain, he was not wrong. So, surprise or political upset, yes.... but the possibility of a Trump win existed on election day. Then, of course, we really do not know how much the Russian efforts contributed. With a 76,000 vote margin over three states, getting some combination of getting 76,000 clinton voters to stay home in apathy or 37,000 to change their votes is not only plausible; its not a stretch to say it was likely.

We are twisting off into never never land here..... there is a huge difference between a presidential election poll (which is comprised of 51 individual polls that are BOTH opinion and projection of votes) and a simple opinion poll (which is one poll without a projection of voting). My original post was about an opinion poll. The poster was trying to tell us, from his low information platform, the Trump was extremely popular in those states he barely won. He is not. In Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, his job approval is well below his already rather dismal national job approval.

"Kanye West is what happens when negros don't read" "Black folks are about to trade Kanye West in the racial draft" "He's an attention whore" "He's a token negro" "He clearly has issues"

"He's already been hospitalized"

Don Lemon couldn't stop laughing.

No biggie, black people have gotten use to being whipped by Democrat plantation owners.

What is it like when your dreams come true? Oh wait, I am in the same dream. Unfortunately that dream is a nightmare to 55% of Americans.

Trixe and others like him continually spout off how the 2016 polls got it incorrect. Almost all the polls were correct within the margin of error. Typical BS from Trump supporters. On the bright side the generic ballot has the Dems 6 points ahead, more than enough to take House. The two year victory lap is almost over.

A few facts you need to get straight.
First of all, I am not a guy. I am a woman.

Secondly, Clinton lost because there were a lot undecided voters and many of the pollsters over sampled Democrats.
There were also some who were polled who would not admit to voting for Trump, and lied to pollsters Some don't answer the phone.

Thirdly, the media had Clinton winning in a landslide compared to the data seen in the polls by people like Nate Silver.

We had a pretty good economy before this buffoon took office (the unemployment in my state was under 3.0 at the end of the Obama years); the lower taxes will fuel income and wealth disparity, which will eventually be a huge problem for our economy (wonder why very few Republicans are running on them?); NAFTA 1.1 was much to do about nothing (yet at great risk to our economy to achieve); there no evidence that our military is any stronger (but plenty of evidence that American soft power is very weak); there is no new border wall (what are your reading that says otherwise?), which is nothing but a solution for no known problem. There really is very little Trump has done to contribute to our economic success, it is nothing more than the continuation of a trajectory that was established in 2009.

Sorry, but Trump has actually done very little (though like a good snake oil salesman, has managed to convince you otherwise). What he has done is bring us to new heights of political divisiveness and made the world a much more dangerous place. Meanwhile, he remains an ignorant, arrogant, racist, thin-skinned, impulsive, narcissistic man-child who in addition to now knowing what he is doing, is a fool to not rely upon the expertise of those around him that do (not to mention his pathetic management skills that have resulted in an unprecedented level of staff turnover at 1600 Pennsylvania). No, we live each and every day in fear of a President that lacks the experience, temperament and instinct to do the "right thing".... wondering if he might start a war or create a monumental international incident with a careless tweet or statement.

Sorry, America has "survived" two years of Trump, but not without wounds that will surely produce ugly scars that will remain for decades on the fabric of our once great Democracy. It will be a long time before America is restored to its place as the leader of the free world.

You mean after the lefties had called her a white supremacist because she stayed out of politics? Yeah...sorry it doesn't compare. Now toddle along.

White supremacists used Taylor Swift as their ideal pin up girl...without her consent. I don't think she much control over it...until she came out and publicly endorsed Democrats.

There's always been a little competitive animosity between Taylor and Kanye...ever since the 2009 music awards. I think her endorsement of Democrats was a good move because it killed two birds with one stone. It undermined Kanye's endorsement of Trump and it helped to distance her from the white supremacists.

That still doesn't negate the fact that Taylor Swift was called a white supremacist by many on the left, merely for the intolerable act of not getting involved.

You apparently do not understand what "over sampling" is. It is not what you imply. Oversampling is used to ascertain the voting propensities and opinions of sub-groups. From wiki... "... Oversampling and undersampling in data analysis are techniques used to adjust the class distribution of a data set..."

The problem with polling democrats is that the party has far more sub-constituencies (more heterogeneous) than the Republican counterparts. Therefore to improve poll accuracy, pollsters "sample" more democrats to understand how the democrats as a group.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oversampling_and_undersampling_in_data_analysis

https://www.cnn.com/2016/10/25/politics/donald-trump-polls-rigged-oversampling-democrats/index.html

Oversampling is used to study small groups, not bias poll results

So, I don't know if you learned this garbage on Fox News, but once again they are giving you half the facts while ascribing some type of nefarious motives that play into your fears. You have been manipulated. But don't worry, some of us are here to straighten you out.

Is that why she endorsed Democrats?

Is that why she endorsed Democrats?

I don't know what her motivations are. All I know is that she had, until recently, stayed out of politics and was called a white supremacist for it. Oh...and she coincidentally won an award at the AMAs after deciding to speak out.

I think Kanye was brutalised by childhood, long before he attained celebrity.

CNN did not brutalize West. Commentators who appeared on CNN expressing their own opinion may have done, but nothing in the video clip indicates the views any of the four individuals expressed are those of CNN and its management.

CNN is a media outlet that various individuals having their own points of view appear. When CNN wants to express its own organizational opinion, it does so, and when it does so, CNN or the person communicating CNN's position is very clear in noting that the view is CNN's not the announcer's.

Pay attention to the job titles noted for Bakari Sellers and Tara Setmayer. They, along with the other guy, are commentators, not CNN producers or leadership/executives. E.g.,
News networks are quite similar to newspapers in that the distinction between an author's opinion and that of the outlet itself is clearly delineated. About the only difference is that newspapers put the paper's editorial board and publisher's POV on the editorial page and they put others' in columns and on the Op-ed page(s).

The ship has already sailed in regards to CNN's credibility and candor.
