First, the Democratic Party today is very different from what it was in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Same for the Republican Party. There is very little (I’d like to say no chance, but Trump) chance Jim Crow laws will ever be enacted again.

Secondly you're mocking West for possibly putting his beliefs in front of his financial interests yet you and others praise the exact same thing when it's a cultural star that comes out opposing Trump. Why don't you ouse the same condescending tone of yours toward them?

You have complained in the past that you think Trump is a bully. I submit to you that you and most of the other never Trumpers are guilty of behaving like bullies.

I'm not much into identity politics but I think it's possible that Trump could win the majority of black women in his next run. Imagine if he does win their favor. That's 25% of the black voting block alone.

First of all, most Trump supporters are not in the age range of listening to Kayne. A very small minority of Trump supporters a likely fans of his.

Secondly, I am not mocking him for putting his politics before his art. Most people who know Kayne and grew up watching him, know he has a history of instability, egotism, and talking crazy. He is not putting politics above anything. He just likes the attention, and it feeds into his sense of ego.

Your just as bad as the cons who dismiss Carey as being crazy because they disagree with his opinion. Both make coherent opinions and it's an insult to each of them to dismissed in that manner. People complain about the tone of discourse while contributing to the problem. I don't agree with Carey but I don't insult him with personal attacks.

Not just that but I think it would do a lot for race relations in this country. At some point blacks need to feel that they are welcomed to unite with conservatives and stand united on common issues.

It's really true that Democrats have become more Klan-like in their oppression and stereotyping of black people. NYT recently wrote an article, in where they chastised white progressives for fleeing diversity. The script has flipped.

Back in 2005 when Kanye West said George Bush didn't care about black people, conservatives absolutely BASHED the living **** out of Kanye. They despised him for years...until he starting sucking up to the new right wing hero, Donald Trump. Now suddenly Kanye is a heroic figure to right wingers everywhere. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Huh? Trump's lowest approval ratings are with black women. He has no shot at even getting anything above 5 or 6% of the black female vote.

The deaths in NOLA form Katrina were due ENTIRELY to Louisiana democrat BLUNDERS, such as the mayor of NOLA, NAGAN, refusing to order an evacuation, as Bush requested, despite having the buses ready to do so; the governor, Landreiu, REFUSING to allow the National Guard the be deployed ahead of time, as Bush requested; the re-allocation of Federal monies intended for the shoring up/maintenance of the 9th district levee, to other "pet projects" by Landrieu.

West has clearly started paying BETTER ATTENTION....
