Justice League

In other words, DC needs to lay off the Batman and Superman crap and move one to the numerous other superheros they have.

Well, they are doing that. There's an Aquaman movie being filmed.

They need to do a Lobo film. Rated R.

Spider-Man fights for his city.

But yeah....he's about the only one. Well, only big name, anyway.

Yeah he was one of my marvel favs. I like both marvel and dc but I just leaned more towards dc.

They damn sure don't need to try punisher for a fourth time.

I like The Question. They need to do one for him. Star Man from the 90's. That was a good read. Reboot Swamp Thing. Defnitely do Sandman.

What a boring character. Just calling him "the Punisher" doesn't change the fact that this type of character is done to death in hollywood. Never liked the Punisher. It's like the character that took the least amount of thinking to come up with. Basically the entire concept of him is, "I'm pissed and I have a gun!" Whooptie freegin' doo.

Wonder Woman was a perfectly fine movie, but it simply wasn't that great compared to the Marvel movies. It was lauded to the degree that it was because DC finally made a movie that didn't suck giant wet donkey balls.

I was actually going to say the same thing.

Wonder Woman was a solid movie. It was enjoyable. It still had a number of flaws where it fell a little flat.

It was judged on a weighted scale, and no I'm not meaning "female superhero" scale; I mean in relation to the DC Universe. It added much needed brightness and levity to the DC universe that just hadn't been there before (which is ridiculous given Superman basically begs to be a bright movie, in part to provide contrast to Batman). Compared to Man of Steel, BVS, and Suicide Squad, it was phenomenal.

If it was in the MCU, it'd basically be Thor: The Dark World or Captain America: The First Avenger.

There's talk that WW's success helped steer them a little bit more towards some levity and lightness in the movie though, and the new director is a master at that kind of thing, so I'm going in with low expectations but hoping to be surprised.

It took DC ten years to learn that when an audience walked out of a Marvel movie, they were in a super good mood and quoting the jokes for up to three days after watching it. While that didn't describe me after watching Wonder Woman, to be exact, I just remember being absolutely clear that I had just watched a super hero movie and not The Road.

The Punisher is Marvel's version of Batman. They both have a backstory and a resulting layer of depth that could fit onto a bumper sticker: "Criminals killed my parents/family, so now I punch/shoot criminals."

Batman is a jerk with a magic belt of wonders. Punisher is just a dick with a gun.

Concern for the quality of the film or sabotaging Snyder/wanting to add "own style" to the movie? You decide.

ScreenRant.com: Justice League All Reshoot Changes Explained

If i were in charge of DC Comics, i'd call Whedon into my office so i could pin him to a wall and beat him senseless.
The Superman/CGI Face screw-up alone would be enough to warrant that.

Oh well. It could've been worse.
It could have been Michael "Put in lots of explosions and create a movie around it" Bay or JJ "Destroyer of Franchises" Abrams.
