2. Bill de Blasio- i'm befuddled as to what people thought was negative about his performance. Came out with an unapologetic progressive platform.
3. Julian Castro- setting himself up well for a cabinet position
4. Cory Booker- did well but not spectacular
5-10. Irrelevant.

One of the winners during these two nights is a governor who didn’t make these debates, but did make those in July. That would be Gov. Bullock of MT. He obviously knows your western issues.

Bullock had a townhall in Iowa today, where he got a huge endorsement, and has one tomorrow night in New Hampshire. He’s won twice as governor in Red MT, and is the only announced DEM to win in a trump state.

You will get a return on your contribution, but if you are typical of the pool of retirees it won't be great and it won't come near the return if you had socked the same amount in index funds or stocks. Ten or fifteen years ago the average SSI contribution return was 2% annually (less than inflation) but it was dropping so I imagine its about 1% or zero now...and headed downward. In ten or fifteen years, a person will have to make do with a negative return of -5 or more percent.

As far the old canned rhetoric about those corporations and rich people, dating back at least 100 to 150 years, I guess people repeat it ad nauseum to vent at something remote and not of their own identity. I get it, you have to have someone to blame and as long as its someone else is other than you (or your group identity), you are all for it. I'm pretty sure they were saying it when government took 7 percent of the GDP about 100 years ago, and we know they are saying it today when government is 40 or more percent of the economy.

One would think a six or seven fold increase in governments share of the loot would be enough, but its never enough is it? We still bitch and gripe and complain we need MORE...and rest assured the same kind of folks will be raging against the rich guy when in 50 or 100 years the government is taking 75 percent of the wealth produced.

Sadly folks like you don't want to ask why MORE is never enough. The don't want to ask how much is actually redistributed and to whom. Nope, its those rich people and corporations (which, by the way, directly or indirectly the middle class has investments in).

Oh well, I'm retired and I got mine. I'm not rich, but I invested and am set till I die. For the rest of you, best of luck with the welfare-state sucking the economic cow dry.
