Allow me to fact check some of those 'qualities' you say convinced you to vote for Trump.
"1. He was no partisan. He was running on the Republican ticket, but he criticizes Republicans just as readily as he criticizes Democrats when they are in the wrong."
Trump had no party affiliation one way or another. Historically he's been a member of any party that happened to be on top at the time. He never even registered to vote until 1987 when he was already living at Trump Tower, he was 41 years old when he first became a registered voter. At that time, he registered as a Republican. But he subsequently changed his party five different times over the course of the next 20 years.
"2. He is not a member of the permanent political class, i.e. a groomed, handled, polished, trained, coached, scripted and manipulated professional politician."
Trump is a mob boss and always has been, there's no other way to say it. I know that from knowing about Trump for the past 40 years of my life. I live close enough to NY to have read and heard about him for most of my life. I knew he was crooked back then and I also know that leopards never change their spots. The closest he ever got to any type of 'political class' was at political fundraisers where his contributions to campaigns like Bill Clinton's mattered to him because at that point in time, he was a Democrat.
"3. He has a track record for thinking outside the box and not being satisfied with a mediocre or unproductive status quo. He is willing to try something different, risk failure to try something new, until he finds something that actually works, solves the problem, fixes things, or produces good results. He doesn't quit just because somebody says no or tells him it can't be done. Saying it can't be done is waving a red flag at a bull for him."
There's two ways to consider what 'thinking outside the box' is. What Trump does is not thinking outside the box, it's thinking in a way that benefits Trump, nothing more than that. He doesn't care about this country or anyone that lives in it. He cares about one thing - Trump.
"4. He offered a vision for a stronger, more free, more prosperous, more beautiful America that we haven't seen from a politician in decades. A vision that we could agree to help accomplish."
This is all so profoundly disturbing that I don't even know where to begin. He's a populist - and apparently you don't have any idea at all about populism. So, I'll just skip over this because it won't register with you anyway. Just do yourself a favor and google 'populism' and 'famous populists' one day and see whose names pop up under that category.
"Not a single other candidate, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green Party or other, offered us any one of those four things."
Nobody offered what Trump did because what he offered are things he couldn't deliver on without a cabal of co-conspirators in Congress and help from Russia and Saudi Arabia.
