Im not confused in the slightest. I suppose I could report you for flame baiting or derailing this thread and making it about me, but I dont report people. I find that to be rather cowardly and I say that in a non-personal atacky kind of way. Look, this “just a cop” tries to live by three very simple rules.

1) Treat others the way you want to be treated, right up to the point they no longer give you the latitude to do so.

2) One’s right to swing one’s fist ends where the other guy’s nose begins. (I have the right to do as I please until it impacts negatively on someone else).

3) While still standing up for one’s principles try to be neither too readily annoying or too readily annoyed.

You’re trying hard to work on that last one, with the multiple thumbs aimed at my eyes, and every time I come back suggesting that’s not how you impress others reading along (I presume you’re attempting to play to the crowd as you’re talking at me instead of to me) you go and do it again.

You apparently don’t like law enforcers because you perceive them to be biased, yet here you are judging me simply based on what I did for a living, as you know precious little else about me. That doesn’t strike you as just a tad hypocritical?

Give that a moment to settle in before you respond with yet another comment about what I must like about the sound of my keyboard, how my words mean nothing because, after all, I’m Blue, etc, and so forth.

They would never say "you smell funny". That would be an attack on the person. It has to be phrased "your post reads like it was written by someone whose mama smells funny." See? Clearly attacking the post, in no way disparaging the poster, which would be against the rules. (And also not at all helpful for discussion.)
