Joe Biden expected to attend George Floyd funeral, family lawyer says

Is Joe Biden a personal family friend? No. Therefore, he has no business being there. The optics of Joe Biden attending this funeral will not go over well with moderates and independents. It just wreaks of political desperation.
 
Let's hope nobody arrives in a bus. We don't want Biden to make a scene.

It actually shows the next President of the United States of America gives a crap about their struggle and has the class to show his respect. Something trump has no clue about, respect or class.
 
Don't know what the OP is complaining about. Biden was invited and is attending. Biden called Floyd's family right away after the murder happened, while Trump was too busy quoting radical racist police chiefs from the 1960's on twitter.

Trump wouldn't go any way. Trump showing up at the funeral would piss off his racist low information base.

This is even dumber than the first thing you said, above.

The ONLY people who will feign outrage over Biden accepting an invitation from the Floyd family...are th ots and racists who support Trump. That's it. The other 75% of the public will have no problem with it.

Honestly, you people would have no problem with this if Trump had been invited. But of course, no one wants to invite a racist to the funeral of a man killed by racists.

It's really sad how they exploit the victims here for their own PR.

I'm surprised the family didn't kick all these posers to the curb and keep it private and dignified.

I have no issue with Biden attending as a guest of this poor man's family. If the family wanted to invite the President to stand next to Biden, I believe it would be very symbolic for the country. It would be a great opportunity to put partisanship aside, and to ponder the circumstances that got us there, and how to move forward as a UNITED country.

I will add, it's the family's decision. Let's not forget this man left a distraught family behind
