Another Trump lie spread by his zombie followers.
Trump Says U.S. Economy Is 'Best It Has Ever Been,' But Facts Tell A Different Story
“Trump’s boasting, apart from the usual inaccuracy, is at odds with the reality of a surprisingly fragile U.S. economy.”
“To begin with, while the current expansion may be the longest on record, it is also the weakest. Since 2009, the economy has grown by only 25%, which compares poorly against the much shorter periods of expansion in the 1980s and the 1990s, which grew by 38% and 43% respectively. Even the record low unemployment rate is also not what it seems. One key reason for low unemployment is because people are dropping out of the labor force, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. This means that many American workers, chiefly the less educated and low skilled, have become so discouraged that they have simply given up looking for a job. The economy is not creating jobs that they can fill, while companies are complaining about shortages of skilled workers. As a result, households’ finance remains extremely precarious; a shocking four in ten American adults would not be able to cover an unexpected $400 expense with cash or saving, according to research by the Federal Reserve.”
Trump Says U.S. Economy Is 'Best It Has Ever Been,' But Facts Tell A Different Story
Trump Didn’t Make This Economy
“The low unemployment rate, decent wage growth, and solid corporate earnings are all artifacts of a long expansion, not signs that a very stable genius in the White House has unleashed American enterprise.”
“Last night, as on so many other nights of his presidency, Donald Trump touted the economy’s prowess. “Three years ago, we launched the great American comeback. Tonight, I stand before you to share the incredible results,” he said during his State of the Union address. “The years of economic decay are over.” The economy “is the best it has ever been.” And it is all happening thanks to Republicans.”
“Contrary to Trump’s crowing at the State of the Union, the country’s growth performance is not unusual or extraordinary. It is good. Solid. A, B, maybe a B–, not an A+. The Bureau of Economic Analysis recently reported that the economy is expanding at a 2.1 percent annual rate—not bad for a developed economy this late in the business cycle, yet roughly half of the 4 percent rate the administration promised. The low unemployment rate, decent wage growth, solid corporate earnings, and a booming stock market: Those are all artifacts of a long, long expansion, not signs that a very stable genius in the White House has unleashed American enterprise.”
* FYI, there’s plenty more proof, but the point is made.
.... the stupid lockdowns ruined it
The “stupid” failed responses of certain government officials, including Trump, has caused far more financial misery than has been necessary.
Iiterally, 99.999 percent of the US population hasn't gotten the virus and likely never will
1% of US population officially has coronavirus. Experts say real number is much higher
“ More than 1% of the United States population has tested positive for coronavirus, but various factors have led experts to believe millions more Americans have contracted the virus.
According to Johns Hopkins University, there are 3.30 million confirmed COVID-19 cases in the U.S. as of Monday, July 13. The country’s census bureau reports the current population is 329.9 million.”

The liberal governors are to blame
The fish rots from the head.
I don't blame some conspiracy theorist who think liberals are behind all this
Of course you don’t, because you’re one of them.
For one, they are always trying to brainwash us to think the world is over populated
