29 points in 29 minutes "You only need on team to love U".

He has something to prove, and he is determined to prove it.

He might be someone the Lakers should want to pay and keep.

EDIT: I am interested because I have long followed the Lakers, and because he is from Tacoma, and he is tiny 5'9"

Didn't he play for the Pistons with Dennis Rodman?

Is that a crack about his age?

He is 29....just..., baring injury he thought he had two more years after this at the top.

Now everything is messed up for him but maybe the Lakers dont get who they want and they sign Thomas for one year only big with maybe more later.

No it was a legitimate question. I don't think the guy I am thinking of is 29. More like 49.

Dont feel bad, I only know about the Lakers.

I started watching them back in the Kareem years and even though I hardly like Basketball I cant stop.

You know I bet there is a NBA thread that I should have used.

SORRY

Interestingtidbit;

Early life
Thomas was named after former Detroit Pistons Hall of Fame point guard Isiah Thomas when his father, James, bet his friend that his favorite team, the Los Angeles Lakers, would defeat the Pistons in the 1989 NBA Finals (which the Pistons won in a four-game sweep). Even though the younger Thomas ended up being born months before the Finals took place, James had already warmed to the name. However, his mother, Tina Baldtrip, insisted on spelling it Isaiah, as she desired a biblical name.[1][2] He was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington.[3] As a child, he had the nicknames "Bighead" (or Head) from his father and "Zeke" from his mother, after the other Isiah Thomas's nickname.[4]

His life is now complete.

I wish him all the luck in the world.

And you are not helping me either, as per usual.

What else is left for him to accomplish? He showed you something. You know that is all that matters to him. His life is now complete.

It is an exciting time to be a Lakers fan.

Lonzo Ball is blossoming before our very eyes. This kid can shoot, he was making clutch 3-pointers against the Spurs.

I see LeBron James and Paul George signing with the Lakers in the offseason.

If those dominos fall in place, I think the Lakers should trade Kuzma and Randle to the Pelicans for Boogie Cousins.

Plus they have a decent guy that they have to pay a ton who is not playing at all.....I say that they should go the rest of the season putting their best people on the floor, make this fun, and give Thomas a chance to play his way onto this team.....do they really need two new top salary people?

I am not so sure.

Let's see.

I like Thomas however the Lakers play for championships, not deep playoff runs.

Thomas is not a franchise-championship caliber player.

He can sign with the other team in la or the Utah Jazz.

The Lakers have a great young squad and two awesome mentors, as much as I am shocked to hear myself saying this that thing to do is to take this team and run the Jim Buss plan...wait a year and maybe add one more great player, which will be possible, because they will be ready to win it all.
