True, but they didn't have fact-free right wing political porn to feed their fantasies nor a cult-leader like Donald Trump to validate them.

Unfortunately they did. It's easier to spread now, but look at what was going on in Germany at the time. Sorry if right-wingers get offended. Actually, I'm not.

He is conveying data from the CDC. The finding is there is no evidence of increased immunity between the group that previously got covid and had no vaccine versus the group that previously got covid but did get the vaccine. there is absolutely no difference in the CDC data. Both of these groups did better than the third group which are people who had the vaccine but had no previous bought of covid.

The point you’re missing is that previous infection probably doesn’t confer long lasting protection.

One can always pick and choose their studies, but the fact is that the preponderance of studies show that the vaccines have a stronger and longer lasting immune response that prior infection alone.

This meta study shows a relatively equivalent immune response between previous infection and being vaccinated. However, the risks of previous infections are exponentially higher than being vaccinated. Moreover, in either case, one would need to be boosted with a vaccine as antibodies decline over time.
something is going on in this Both this and what I provided came from the CDC. It runs against the grain of the chart I showed, also from the CDC. In that chart the infection rate is virtually the same. How could that be what is written in your article? I think it ay be to this phrase in your article:

Among COVID-19–like illness hospitalizations

Why does it have to be an absolute thing to you people? Do seat belts stop 100% of accident deaths?
Because Right wingers have bigger amygdalas.
They operate from a position of FEAR and RAGE most of the time.
If amygdalas were dicks, they'd be porn stars.

How the falsehood of athletes dying from coronavirus vaccines spread

Lubos Motl, a blogger and physicist with a history of making false claims about coronavirus vaccines, tweeted that Eriksen had received the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine 12 days earlier. He claimed his source was a radio interview with Inter Milan’s chief medic and cardiologist, an interview that never happened and was quickly denied by Inter Milan and Radio Sportiva.
Motl deleted his tweet, but it was amplified by other vaccine skeptics who did not delete their tweets, such as Alex Berenson, a former New York Times reporter, and Brazilian journalist Allan dos Santos. (Their Twitter accounts were later suspended, as was Motl’s.) The false claim quickly spread to Facebook, in many languages.
